This dataset includes discrete sample and profile data collected from THOMAS WASHINGTON in the Gulf of Alaska and North Pacific Ocean from 1984-05-04 to 1984-06-04 and retrieved during cruise P16_1984a. Measurements of conductivity and temperature were collected with a high-accuracy conductivity and temperature recorder (Seabird SBE37 microcat) in approximately 10 m water depth at a single location fronting the village of Wainwright, Alaska, from 24 August to 1 October 2009. The instrument was mounted on the frame approximately 0.50 m off the bottom of the seafloor. Salinity was calculated from conductivity measurements.
