An Eighteen-Year Time-Series of Chlorophyll Monthly Averages from Kaneohe Bay, Oahu, Hawaii, 1982 - 2001 (NCEI Accession 0000422)
Chlorophyll data were collected from a sewage outfall site in Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii, from 1982 to 2001. The purpose of the project was to study the responses of the ecosystem to the sewage diversion from the inner bay to an offshore, deep water location and to continue monitoring the location to denote changes associated with natural environmental and anthropogenic forcing on the primary productivity. Data were submitted by the University of Hawaii at Manoa and funding was provided by the Environmental Protective Agency (EPA).

Chlorophyll data collected from the old outfall site in the south sector of Kaneohe Bay, Oahu, Hawaii, 2001-02 to 2004-05 (NCEI Accession 0002805)
공공데이터포털
Kaneohe Bay received increasing amounts of sewage from the 1950s through 1977. Most sewage was diverted from the bay in 1977 and early 1978. Data were collected beginning in September 1976 and continued until June 1979. The time series was re-established in June 1982 and continued to December 2005, when it was terminated. The sampling was at 1 m depth in the south sector of Kaneohe Bay, Oahu near the old outfall that ceased in 1977. Previous NODC Accessions 0000396 (1976-1979) and 0000422 (1982-1/2001) contained monthly averages of chlorophyll a, based on weekly to bi-weekly samples. This data set has the weekly to bi-weekly chlorophyll a, phaeo, water temperature, Secchi depth, and sample site depth. Additional data were taken from June 2004 - December 2005 and these will be available in a separate data set.
Chlorophyll data from the Coastal waters of Hawaii and Northeast Pacific Ocean to study the responses of the ecosystem to the sewage diversion from the the inner bay to an offshore, deep-water location from 24 September 1976 to 15 June 1979 (NCEI Accession 0000396)

Water Quality and Sedimentation Data of the Coastal Intensive Site Network (CISNet) Long Term Monitoring Sites in Kaneohe Bay, Oahu, Hawaii from 1998 to 2001 (NODC Accession 0001473)
공공데이터포털
A long term project to monitor water quality and sediment processes in Kaneohe Bay was initiated in November 1998 and continued through July 2001. Four primary sites in the bay were chosen which had been used in historical water quality studies. Additional sites were located in feeder streams within a mile of the bay and just offshore in the open ocean.

Chlorophyll-a, productivity, solar radiation, and other data in Saanich Inlet, British Columbia, from 1975-05-29 to 1975-07-14 (NCEI Accession 7600377)
공공데이터포털
Water temperature, salinity, chlorophyll-a, nitrate, phosphate, and other data were collected from a small boat in the Saanich Inlet, British Columbia, from 29 May 1975 to 14 July 1975. Data were collected by the Skidaway Institute of Oceanography (SKIO) as part of the International Decade of Ocean Exploration / Controlled Ecosystem Pollution Experiment (IDOE/CEPEX).
Currents in Kaneohe Bay, Oahu, Hawaii 2005-2007 in support of fresh water plume studies performed by the Department of Oceanography at the University of Hawaii (NCEI Accession 0040251)
공공데이터포털
Freshwater plumes from rain run-off into Kaneohe Bay is the focus for the investigation. Measurements in this data set are currents as measured by an moored Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler (ADCP) and a Nortek current meter. Data were collected during November 2005 - March 2007 by members of the Department of Oceanography at the University of Hawaii. The ADCP sensor includes temperature at the transducer depth of 13 m. The Nortek current meter included ancillary measurements including temperature and pressure. Temperature and salinity data taken at 24 stations as part of this project are available in a separate NCEI accession.
Near shore water chemistry data from Island of Hawaii and Lanai 1988-2011 (NCEI Accession 0104398)
공공데이터포털
This data set contains coastal water quality parameters as measured at seven shoreline locations on the west side of the Island of Hawaii and one site on Lanai, Hawaii during 1988-2011. Each location had over 20 sub-sites for sampling. Most were sampled roughly 4 times per year though some only once annually and other years with as many as 11 observational visits. The water quality data comprise 14 parameters and were collected using well-established instruments and methodologies. Parameters are aspects of water chemistry including turbidity. This set does not include measurements of bacteria. The data are stored in spreadsheets of the same format, with one file per location.
