Dissolved greenhouse gas concentrations and fluxes from Wetlands P7 and P8 of the Cottonwood Lake Study area, Stutsman County, North Dakota, 2015
공공데이터포털
A study was conducted to assess the relationships among carbon mineralization, sulfate reduction and greenhouse gas emissions in prairie pothole wetlands. These data are for dissolved methane and carbon dioxide concentrations and fluxes. Dissolved gas concentrations in the water column and fluxes to the atmosphere were estimated from April through November, 2015 for wetlands P7 and P8 of the Cottonwood Lake Study area, Stutsman County, North Dakota. Dissolved gases in the water column were collected every two weeks using a pumping-induced ebullition device. Gas flux samples were collected concurrently at the water-atmosphere interface using the vented static-chamber method. Gas concentrations of the gas samples were determined using gas chromatography. Air and water temperature and water depth also were collected concurrently. These data directly support the associated publication “Abundant carbon substrates drive extremely high sulfate reduction rates and methane fluxes in Prairie Pothole Wetlands” which is referenced within the Metadata.
Greenhouse gas concentrations and water-quality parameters from experimental ponds in North Dakota, USA, 2019
공공데이터포털
This data release describes data that were contributed to the GasHype project, a global data compilation effort. Goals of the GasHype project include assessing concentrations of carbon dioxide and methane in the hypolimnion of lakes, reservoirs, and ponds, and identifying important drivers of these concentrations. Data contributed by the U.S. Geological Survey, Northern Prairie Wildlife Research Center include concentrations of dissolved greenhouse gases along with various water quality parameters from experimental ponds located near Jamestown, North Dakota, USA. Samples and data were collected from four ponds during the period of May through September, 2019.

AmeriFlux BASE US-LA2 Salvador WMA Freshwater Marsh, ver. 3-5

Wind speed, wind direction (3D) and gas concentrations are measured at 10 Hz and statistically processed using the eddy covariance technique to half-hour estimates of flux rates of gas exchange between the ecosystem and atmosphere. Three gases were measured: carbon dioxide, methane and water vapor. Simultaneous measurements of environmental drivers are also measured and recorded as half-hourly values: photosynthetic photon flux density, downwelling and upwelling short and long wave radiation, air temperature, relative humidity and precipitation. Variable names and units follow AmeriFlux and FLUXNET standards. This site is a flotant herbaceous freshwater marsh in Salvador Wildlife Management Area near Luling, LA.
Greenhouse gas fluxes and dissolved greenhouse gas concentrations from wetland soil microcosms treated with herbicides
공공데이터포털
This data release presents data from a laboratory microcosm study examining the potential effects of herbicide application on the production and flux of greenhouse gases from wetland soils. Wetland soils were placed into glass mason jars and covered with water. Microcosms were treated with varying concentrations (none, low, medium, high) and combinations of the herbicides glyphosate and 2,4-D. Following herbicide application greenhouse gas fluxes were measured and concentrations of dissolved greenhouse gases were determined periodically over a 21-day period.

Global Wetland Methane Emissions derived from FLUXNET and the UpCH4 Model, 2001-2018
공공데이터포털
This dataset provides monthly globally gridded freshwater wetland methane emissions from 2001-2018 in nmol CH4 m-2 s-1, g C-CH4 m-2 d-1, and TgCH4 grid cell-1 month-1. The data were derived from a six-predictor random forest upscaling model (UpCH4) trained on 119 site-years of eddy covariance CH4 flux data from 43 freshwater wetland sites covering bog (8), fen (8), marsh (10), swamp (6), and wet tundra (11) wetland classes and distributed across Arctic-boreal (20), temperate (16), and (sub)tropical (7) climate zones. Weekly mean CH4 fluxes were computed from half-hourly FLUXNET-CH4 Version 1.0 fluxes. Each grid cell CH4 flux prediction was weighted by fractional grid cell wetland extent to estimate CH4 emissions using the primary global dataset of Wetland Area and Dynamics for Methane Modeling (WAD2M) product and an alternate Global Inundation Estimate from Multiple Satellites GIEMS version 2 global wetland map. Both WAD2M and GIEMS-2 maps were modified with several correction data layers to represent the monthly area covered by vegetated wetlands, excluding open water and coastal wetlands. The data products are: mean daily fluxes with no adjustment for wetland area (i.e., flux densities assuming hypothetical 100% wetland cover); mean daily fluxes adjusting for WAD2M or GIEMS-2 wetland area; and by-pixel monthly sum of freshwater wetland methane emissions adjusting for WAD2M or GIEMS-2 wetland area. The data are provided in NetCDF4 format.
