Benthic and pelagic invertebrate stable carbon and nitrogen isotope data, Arctic Marine Biodiversity Observing Network (AMBON) research cruise on the Norseman II, from 2015-08-12 to 2015-09-02 (NCEI Accession 0238156)
공공데이터포털
This dataset contains benthic and pelagic invertebrate stable carbon and nitrogen isotope data collected in the Chukchi Sea, U.S. Arctic during the 12 August - 2 September 2015 Arctic Marine Biodiversity Observing Network (AMBON) research cruise aboard the vessel Norseman II. The dataset contains a comma separated values (csv) files exported from Microsoft Excel. These data were generated from samples collected with trawls, grabs, and plankton nets during the research cruise. The data in the file named AMBON2015_Stable Isotopes_Database_final.csv describe the carbon and nitrogen stable isotope values of invertebrate samples with and without various chemical treatments to eliminate carbonates and lipids. Full location and taxonomic information is given for each sample.

공공데이터포털
This dataset includes marine biodiversity data collected in support of the Arctic Marine Biodiversity Observing Network (AMBON) project from 2015 to 2020. These data include fish, seabird and marine mammal survey data, biomass and abundance data, surface sediments data, as well as physical oceanographic and meteorological data, and other related data. These data were collected on AMBON research cruises and in other related efforts by various partner organizations.
Year-round utilization of sea ice-associated carbon in Arctic ecosystems
공공데이터포털
This record contains a comprehensive synthesis of previously published highly branched isoprenoid (HBI) results, providing a quantitative spatial and temporal assessment of carbon partitioning within the Arctic marine ecosystem and validating estimates of sea-ice particulate organic carbon (iPOC) values as quantitative predictors of ice algal carbon in Arctic food webs. This publication was a collaborative effort with the following contributors: David Yurkowski (Fisheries and Oceans Canada), Lisa Loseto (Fisheries and Oceans Canada), Steve Ferguson (Fisheries and Oceans Canada), Bruno Rosenberg (Fisheries and Oceans Canada), C.W. Koch (Natural History Museum, London, UK; University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science, Maryland, US); T.A. Brown (Scottish Association for Marine Science, Oban, Scotland); R. Amiraux (Centre for Earth Observation Science, University of Manitoba, Canada); C. Ruiz-Gonzalez (Scottish Association for Marine Science, Oban, Scotland); M. Maccorquodale (Scottish Association for Marine Science, Oban, Scotland); G. Yunda-Guarin (Québec-Océan and Takuvik, Biology Department, Laval University, Canada); D. Kohlbach (Norwegian Polar Institute, Fram Centre, Tromsø, Norway); N.E. Hussey (Integrative Biology, University of Windsor, Ontario, Canada).
Surface Sediment Size and Chemistry Data, Arctic Marine Biodiversity Observing Network (AMBON) Chukchi Sea research cruise on RV Norseman II from 2015-08-12 to 2015-09-03 and 2017-08-06 to 2017-08-22 (NCEI Accession 0178029)

This dataset contains summary measurements of surface sediment collected at fixed stations in the Chukchi Sea during the 12 August - 3 September 2015 and 6 August - 22 August 2017 Arctic Marine Biodiversity Observing Network (AMBON) research cruises. A Van Veen grab was used for collection of sediment samples at AMBON sampling stations. Sediment grain size was then determined in the laboratory after removal of organics and iron oxides. This dataset contains two comma-separated values (csv) files containing summary measurements of surface sediment collected at each station for AMB15 and AMB17 by Station Number, Station name, Date (YYYYMMDD), latitude (dec deg N), longitude (dec deg E), and Station Depth (m). The following parameters are listed in this data file for surface sediment values: grain size percentage (â¤0 phi, 1 phi, 2 phi, 3 phi, 4 phi, sand 1-4 phi, â¥5 phi, and modal phi size), percent total organic carbon (TOC), percent total organic nitrogen (TON), C/N ratio, del-13 carbon (per mil), del-15 nitrogen (per mil), surface sediment chlorophyll (chl a; mg/m2), and stable isotope values of 13C and 15N (per mil vs VPDB and air, respectively).
