Imagery data for the Vegetation Mapping Inventory Project of Colorado National Monument
This reference contains the imagery data used in the completion of the baseline vegetation inventory project for the NPS park unit. Orthophotos, raw imagery, and scanned aerial photos are common files held here. Vegetation and land use were interpreted from high-resolution, true color digital orthoimagery and 9” x 9” stereo pairs of 1:12,000-scale true color photographs flown specifically for this project. Polygons representing vegetation or land use map classes defined by RMGSC, in consultation with other project partners, were delineated on orthophotos in a digital environment. With few exceptions, occurrences smaller than approximately 0.5 ha were not delineated.

Imagery data for the Vegetation Mapping Inventory Project of Canyon De Chelly National Monument
공공데이터포털
This reference contains the imagery data used in the completion of the baseline vegetation inventory project for the NPS park unit. Orthophotos, raw imagery, and scanned aerial photos are common files held here. Photointerpreters delineated initial polygons through manual interpretation of 2003/2004 1:12,000-scale true color aerial photography supplemented by occasional computer screen digitizing on a mosaic of digitized aerial photos. These polygons were labeled with base map classes during photointerpretation. Field visits verified interpretation concepts.

Imagery data for the Vegetation Mapping Inventory Project of Bryce Canyon National Park
공공데이터포털
This reference contains the imagery data used in the completion of the baseline vegetation inventory project for the NPS park unit. Orthophotos, raw imagery, and scanned aerial photos are common files held here. Vegetation and land use were interpreted to as detailed a level as possible from high-resolution, 9” x 9” stereo pairs of 1:12,000-scale true color aerial photography. Polygons representing vegetation or land use map classes were delineated on Mylar overlays on aerial photographs (where signatures were confusing) and with the heads-up digitizing technique (where signatures had high contrast), then transferred to a spatial database. The project used the national program standard minimum mapping unit of 0.5 ha with few exceptions.

Vegetation and land use were interpreted to as detailed a level possible from high-resolution, 9” x 9” stereo pairs of 1:12,000-scale true color aerial photography. Polygons representing vegetation or land use map classes were delineated directly on-screen through heads-up digitizing using ArcGIS editing tools and transferred to a spatial database. The project used the program standard minimum mapping unit of 0.5 ha with few exceptions.

Imagery data for the Vegetation Mapping Inventory Project of Navajo National Monument
공공데이터포털
This reference contains the imagery data used in the completion of the baseline vegetation inventory project for the NPS park unit. Orthophotos, raw imagery, and scanned aerial photos are common files held here. All aerial photography was collected for Keet Seel on June 6, 2004, and for Inscription House and Betatakin on June 17, 2004, at a scale of 1:12,000, in natural color. The aerial photography collected for NAVA was part of a regionwide USDA–NPS contract for a number of other SCPN park units. Six photographs cover Inscription House and there are eight each for Keet Seel and Betatakin.

Imagery data for the Vegetation Mapping Inventory Project of Bandelier National Monument
공공데이터포털
This reference contains the imagery data used in the completion of the baseline vegetation inventory project for the NPS park unit. Orthophotos, raw imagery, and scanned aerial photos are common files held here. The initial base map layers were developed using the 2 m resolution color aerial orthophotos, since they had the highest spatial resolution. The regions were designed on their shared physiography: Eastside, Westside, Riverside, USFS, and Tsankawi sub-units. The vegetation map was developed using a combination of automated digital processing (supervised classifications and image segmentation) and direct image interpretation of high-resolution color and color infrared aerial orthophotography in combination with satellite imagery (Landsat Thematic Mapper).
