San Francisco Bay Water Quality Improvement Fund Major River and Tributary Lines, San Francisco Bay CA, 2019, U.S. EPA Region 9
This feature class contains 20 line features representing the major rivers and tributaries in the San Francisco Bay Area affected or potentially affected by projects conducted under the San Francisco Bay Water Quality Improvement Fund. Features were extracted from the national 2017 National Hydrography Dataset (NHD) Plus stream data by selecting the following GNIS names: Alameda Creek, Arroyo de la Laguna, Calaveras River, Corte Madera Creek, Coyote Creek, Guadalupe River, Marsh Creek, Mokelumne River, Napa River, Novato Creek, Petaluma Creek, Sacramento River, San Francisquito Creek, San Joaquin River, Sonoma Creek, Stanislaus River, Tuolumne River, Walnut Creek, Wildcat Creek, York Creek. The results were inspected to ensure all results were in the area of interest and were dissolved based on the above feature names. These features are incorporated in the San Francisco Bay Water Quality Improvement Fund Story Map, an interactive series of maps and QlikSense graphics highlighting the competitive grant program which supports projects to protect and restore San Francisco Bay.
