Pressure, salinity, temperature data were collected from the NOAA LAUNCHES (NOAA Ship RAINIER) from March 13, 2000 to October 26, 2000. Data were submitted by the National Ocean Service (NOS). Data were collected using CTD casts in the Northeast Pacific Ocean.

Temperature profile data were collected using CTD casts from NOAA Ship RAINIER in the Northeast Pacific Ocean and Coastal Waters of Southeast Alaska/British Columbia from 18 March 2006 to 26 June 2006. Data were submitted by Ruby L. Becker of National Ocean Service in Silver Spring, Maryland.

Temperature profile data were collected using CTD casts from NOAA Ship RAINIER in the vicinity of Shumagin Islands in Alaska from 27 June 2006 to 25 August 2006. Data were collected and submitted by the National Ocean Service in Silver Spring, Maryland.

CTD data were collected from NOAA Ship Rainier in coastal Alaska/Washington/Oregon from 04 April 2000 to 14 November 2001. Data include temperature and salinity profiles. Data are in the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute (WHOI) CTD exchange format.

The Conductivity, Temperature and Depth (CTD) and other data were collected in NE Pacific (limit-180). Data was collected from NOAA Ship RAINIER. The data was collected over a period spanning from March 23, 1993 to July 31, 1993. Data was submitted in a diskette by Capt. Russell Arnold, Pacific Marine Environmental Laboratory, Seattle, WA. Data has been processed and is available in F022-CTD-Hi Resolution file format of NODC. F022 High-resolution CTD data is collected from high resolution (conductivity-temperature-depth) instruments. As they are lowered and raised in the oceans, these electronic devices provide nearly continuous profiles of temperature, salinity and other parameters. Data values may be subject to averaging or filtering or obtained by interpolation and may be reported at depth intervals as fine as 1 m. Cruise and instrument information, position, date, time and sampling interval are reported for each station. Environmental data at the time of the cast (meteorological and sea surface conditions) may also be reported. The data record comprises values of temperature, salinity or conductivity, density (computed sigma-t) and possibly dissolved oxygen or transmissivity at specified depth or pressure levels. Data may be reported at either equally or unequally spaced depth or pressure intervals.

Physical profile data were collected using meteorological sensors and CTD casts in the Northeast Pacific Ocean from NOAA Ship KA'IMIMOANA and NOAA Ship RONALD H. BROWN from 11 January 2003 to 08 December 2003. Data were submitted by the Pacific Marine Environmental Laboratory (PMEL) with support from the Tropical Atmosphere Ocean (TAO) project.
