This dataset consists of the surface measurements of salinity, oxygen, total inorganic carbon, total alkalinity, pH on total scale, silicate, nitrate, nitrite, phosphate and NH4 collected under the Global Ocean Ship-based Hydrographic Investigations Program (GO-SHIP). GO-SHIP brings together scientists with interests in physical oceanography, the carbon cycle, marine biogeochemistry and ecosystems, and other users and collectors of ocean interior data, and coordinates a network of globally sustained hydrographic sections as part of the global ocean/climate observing system including physical oceanography, the carbon cycle, marine biogeochemistry and ecosystems.

This dataset includes biological, chemical, discrete sample, physical and profile data collected from OCEAN RESEARCHER I in the East China Sea (Tung Hai) from 2008-01-02 to 2008-01-09. These data include Chlorophyll a, DISSOLVED INORGANIC CARBON (DIC), DISSOLVED OXYGEN, HYDROSTATIC PRESSURE, NITRATE, NITRITE, SALINITY, TOTAL ALKALINITY (TA), WATER TEMPERATURE, pH, phosphate and silicate. This dataset includes profile discrete measurements of dissolved inorganic carbon (DIC), total alkalinity, pH on total scale, temperature, salinity, oxygen nutrients and CFCs obtained during the R/V Ryofu Maru cruise RF16-06 (EXPOCODE 49UP20160703) along GO-SHIP Section P09 in the Pacific Ocean from 2016-07-03 to 2016-08-24. The cruise started from the south of Honshu, Japan, and sailed towards south along approximately 137°E meridian. This line (WHP-P9) was observed by JMA in 1994 as WOCE (World Ocean Circulation Experiment) Hydrographic Programme and in 2010 as CLIVAR (Climate Variability and Predictability Project) / GO-SHIP (Global Ocean Ship-based Hydrographic Investigations Program).

Oceanographic sampling of physical, chemical, and biological parameters was conducted along selected fixed sections in Davis Strait, Baffin Bay, northern Labrador Sea, North Atlantic Ocean at full water depths during the R/V Neil Armstrong Davis Strait Observing System (DSOS) cruise "AR69-04" (EXPOCODE 33VB20221001) from 2022-10-01 to 2022-10-22. The cruise is part of DSOS's long-term, high-frequency repeat program. CTD casts were performed at all stations, and discrete water samples were collected in Niskin bottles using the CTD/Rosette system. The cruise was designed to investigate Arctic-North Atlantic interactions, including the variability and trend of freshwater, heat, carbon, oxygen, and nutrient fluxes, as well as ecosystem responses to climate change. This effort was conducted in support of the NSF (OPP1902595) and Fisheries and Oceans, Canada (OFSI).
