Geologic map of portions of the Livengood B-3, B-4, C-3, and C-4 quadrangles, Tolovana mining district, Alaska
This data file presents 40Ar/39Ar step-heating geochronology results for a granite sample from the Livengood mining district. The Livengood area is a historically productive placer mining area approximately 80 road miles north of Fairbanks, Alaska. This data is a component of a geologic map and accompanying report that synthesizes recently collected and previously published agency and industry geologic data in a 1:50,000-scale comprehensive geologic map to build a better understanding of the geology and mineral-resource potential of the Livengood area.

Bedrock geologic map of the Livengood SW C-3 and SE C-4 quadrangles, Tolovana mining district, Alaska
공공데이터포털
The Preliminary Interpretive Report 2004-3B, "Bedrock geologic map of the Livengood SW C-3 and SE C-4 quadrangles, Tolovana mining district, Alaska," is the bedrock geologic map of an approximately 123-square-mile area in the central Livengood Quadrangle, Alaska.
Geologic map of the Chulitna region, southcentral Alaska
공공데이터포털
This map is the result of field investigations by DGGS in 1997 and 1998. This geologic map and report supersede the previously released Public Data File 99-24B, Preliminary interpretive bedrock geologic map of the Healy A-6 Quadrangle, southcentral Alaska. The current map has been updated to include mapping of areas adjacent to the Healy A-6 Quadrangle, newly interpreted bedrock units based on newly acquired analytical, paleontologic, and Ar40/Ar39 data. Ages for the rock units were modified. Field investigations were part of a two-year mapping program to provide geologic ground truth for airborne geophysical surveys flown by DGGS in the Chulitna region of southcentral Alaska during 1996.
Bedrock geologic map database of the Caribou Creek area, Big Delta C-4 and D-4 quadrangles, east-central Alaska
공공데이터포털
Miscellaneous Publication 172, Bedrock geologic map database of the Caribou Creek area, Big Delta C-4 and D-4 quadrangles, east-central Alaska, presents 1:25,000 scale geologic mapping of the Caribou Creek area in the Big Delta C-4 Quadrangle, east-central Alaska. The Caribou Creek area is known for significant placer gold but no known lode gold source. Additionally, it is one of the few regions in interior Alaska where native bismuth has been reported in placers. During an 11-week field campaign in the summer of 2002, an area of approximately 200 km2 was mapped at a 1:25,000 scale to delineate the area's geologic rock units, identify structural elements and their relative orientation, and collect rock samples for the geochemical and geochronological analysis needed to develop a model for the geological evolution of the area and potential source of the area's abundant placer gold. The resultant bedrock geologic map was published as a component of a University of Alaska master's thesis (Lessard, 2006). This publication release provides a modern compilation of the thesis map's GIS data. The dataset contains geologic, structural, stratigraphic, and geochronologic data organized according to the GeMS and AK GeMS mapping schemas. The geodatabase and ESRI fonts and style files are available from the DGGS website: https://doi.org/10.14509/30866.

Scientific Investigations Map 2975, Geologic map of the Big Delta B-1 Quadrangle, east-central Alaska, provides detailed (1:63,360-scale) geologic mapping of the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) Big Delta B-1 quadrangle. This data release is a conversion of the originating geospatial data published by the USGS and may include minor modifications necessary for schema compliance. The dataset contains geologic, structural, stratigraphic, and geochronologic data organized according to the GeMS and AK GeMS mapping schemas.
