Brook trout movement data related to cover and forage in an experimental stream system with associated water quality parameters
Brook trout is a species of conservation concern in the eastern US. In 2016, we evaluated brook trout movement patterns in response to food and cover treatments in an experimental stream system using RFID monitoring techniques at the USGS Leetown Science Center in Kearneysville, WV. Brook trout were tagged with 12mm HDX Passive Integrated Transponder (PIT) tags and monitored with Multi-Antenna HDX Readers within each experimental stream riffle. We collected associated data on stream temperature using HOBO temperature loggers (Onset Pro V2) and water quality parameters such as dissolved oxygen, conductivity and pH (YSI Professional Plus multiparameter instrument).

Brown trout movement data in Glen and Grand Canyons, Arizona, USA
공공데이터포털
These data were compiled to test hypotheses regarding drivers of movement of brown trout. Objectives of our study were to test whether the degree of movement varied in response to placement of a weir in Bright Angel Creek, fall timed flooding events, or simply seasonal changes. These data represent summarized capture histories of brown trout in terms of states based on physical locations, data on removal efforts in Bright Angel Creek, and summaries of effort in the mainstem Colorado River. These data were collected at several locations along the Colorado River in Glen and Grand Canyon, including Bright Angel Creek from 2011 to 2018. These data were collected by U.S. Geological Survey, National Park Service, and Arizona Game and Fish. These data can be used to test hypotheses regarding drivers of brown trout movement in the Colorado River in its Grand Canyon segment.

Yellowstone Cutthroat Trout and Brown Trout capture-recapture data from Duck Creek, MT in summer and fall 2013-2016
공공데이터포털
We collected lengths and weights of Yellowstone cutthroat trout (Oncorhynchus clarkii bouvieri) and brown trout (Salmo trutta) above (Yellowstone cutthroat trout allopatry) and below (Yellowstone cutthroat trout sympatry with brown trout) a natural barrier in Duck Creek, Montana.

Occupancy data for spatiotemporal distribution assessments of bull trout (Salvelinus confluentus) and rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) in the Bruneau and Jarbidge River Basins, Idaho and Nevada, USA, in water year 2016
공공데이터포털
eDNA-based spatiotemporal distribution data (occupancy model format) for rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) and bull trout (Salvelinus confluentus) within the Bruneau-Jarbidge Rivers Wilderness in southern Idaho and northern Nevada, USA. Data also include stream discharge and stream temperature data for each site. All data were collected between October 2015 and September 2016.

Bull Trout (Salvelinus confluentus) Telemetry and Associated Habitat Data Collected in a Geodatabase from the Upper Boise River, Southwestern Idaho
공공데이터포털
Bull trout (Salvelinus confluentus), listed as threatened under the Endangered Species Act, are among the more thermally sensitive of coldwater species in North America. The Boise River upstream of Arrowrock Dam in southwestern Idaho (including Arrowrock Reservoir) provides habitat for one of the southernmost populations of bull trout. The presence of the species in Arrowrock Reservoir poses implications for dam and reservoir operations. From 2011 to 2014, the Bureau of Reclamation and the U.S. Geological Survey collected fish telemetry data to improve understanding of bull trout distribution and movement in Arrowrock Reservoir and in the upper Boise River tributaries. The U.S. Geological Survey compiled the telemetry (fish location) data, along with reservoir elevation, river discharge, precipitation, and water-quality data in a geodatabase. The geodatabase includes metadata compliant with Federal Geographic Data Committee content standards. Reclamation plans to incorporate the data in a decision-support tool for reservoir management.

Brook trout abundance within pools of Staunton River and Paine Run in Shenandoah National Park from 2012-2021
공공데이터포털
This Data Release provides brook trout abundance records for pool habitats within 2 streams in Shenandoah National Park (Staunton River and Paine Run). The data were collected with 3-pass backpack electrofishing conducted during baseflow conditions between 2012-2021. This dataset enables spatial analysis of brook trout population responses to drought conditions.
