Surface discrete measurements of dissolved inorganic carbon (DIC), alkalinity, pH, partial pressure of carbon dioxide (pCO2), temperature, salinity, and dissolved oxygen during a small fishing boat cruises in Jiaozhou Bay, Yellow Sea from 2018-04-25 to 2018-08-03 (NCEI Accession 0208682)
This dataset includes continuous sea surface measurements of dissolved inorganic carbon (DIC), calculated total alkalinity, pH on NBS scale, calculated partial pressure of carbon dioxide (pCO2), temperature, salinity and dissolved oxygen during a small fishing boat cruises in Jiaozhou Bay, Yellow Sea, from 2018-04-25 to 2018-08-03. The data were collected using a Van Dorn water sampler aboard a small fishing vessel. At each station, just surface samples were collected since water column is vertically well mixed. The measurements were done under project named "Effects of biological processes on calcium carbonate saturation in eutrophic coastal oceans: a case study in Jiaozhou Bay", The project is funded by Basic Scientific Fund for National Public Research Institutes of China (2016Q01, 2019S05).

Discrete, profile measurements of dissolved inorganic carbon (DIC), total alkalinity (TA), salinity, oxygen, nutrients, and water temperature during the CCGS John P. Tully Line P cruise (EXPOCODE 18DD20240124) in the Northeast Pacific Ocean from 2024-01-24 to 2024-02-03 (NCEI Accession 0310718)

These data were collected in the Northeast Pacific Ocean from 2024-01-24 to 2024-02-03, as part of the Line P Water Properties Survey led by Marie Robert. Discrete dissolved inorganic carbon (DIC), total alkalinity (TA), salinity, and nutrient samples were taken from rosette casts with 10L Niskin bottles and analyzed at the Institute of Ocean Sciences. Discrete samples of dissolved oxygen were also collected and analyzed onboard the vessel. CTD profiles were recorded with each rosette cast. DIC/TA samples were placed in cool storage after collection and returned to the shore-based lab for analysis. Oxygen units were converted to µmol/kg when reported in ml/L. Nutrient concentrations were converted to µmol/kg from µmol/L.
