Seasonal median daily water depths for study wetlands in the Tamarac National Wildlife Refuge, the St. Croix National Scenic Riverway, the North Temperate Lakes Long-term Research area, and the Upper Mississippi River study area from 2008-2012.
To relate water levels in our study wetlands to temperature, precipitation, wetland water depth, and amphibian calling activity, we installed one pressure logger in the deepest spot we could find in each wetland. Soon after thawing conditions allowed, we drove a plastic pipe (anchor pipe) into the sediments at the deepest location and secured another pipe to it that contained one pressure logger (Global Water Model 14 and 15 [College Station, TX, USA] or Onset Computer Corporation Model U20-001-04 [Bourne, MA, USA]) suspended approximately 2.5 cm above the sediments. We installed additional individual pressure loggers in the upper part of the logger pipes (in air) at select locations to measure barometric pressure for calibrating the submerged loggers’ readings. We measured pressure once per hour and used software supplied by the logger manufacturers to upload and convert data to depth at the end of each season.

Water level data from select depressional wetlands at Saint Marks National Wildlife Refuge: July 2010 - May 2019 (version. 2.0, August 2022)
공공데이터포털
This USGS Data Release represents geospatial and tabular data for a study investigating linkages between local terrain and wetland hydroperiod and was supported by the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) Amphibian Research and Monitoring Initiative (ARMI). This dataset contains wetland water level data from Saint Marks National Wildlife Refuge (SMNWR). Data include records of water level and water temperature measurements from select wetlands beginning in July 2010 and ending in 2019. Not all wetlands span this entire period as different phases of studies resulted in different time periods of data collection. Instrumentation included a staff gage and a non-vented continuous logging pressure transducer that logged data at 1-hour intervals. The dataset consists of 4 separate items: 1. water level monitoring site Locations (tabular data) 2. wetland perimeters (GIS vector data) 3. water level and water temperature data for 59 select wetlands (tabular data) 4. revision history text file that describes the changes from the original release to version 2.0. In Version 2.0 of this data release, data collected since the initial publication (2016) are being added to the data release to provide a longer record. Additionally, wetland perimeters (polygons) that were not available during the first release are added to version 2.0.

Water level and water temperature data from select depressional wetlands at Saint Marks National Wildlife Refuge: July 2010 - May 2019 (Version 2.0, August 2022)
공공데이터포털
This dataset contains records of water level and water temperature measurements from select wetlands at Saint Marks National Wildlife Refuge. These data were collected as part of the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) Amphibian Research and Monitoring Initiative (ARMI). Beginning in July 2010, hydrologic monitoring equipment was installed in 24 wetlands. Instrumentation included a staff gage and a non-vented continuous logging pressure transducer (Onset Comp U20) that logged data at 1-hour intervals. An additional 35 sites were instrumented in January 2014. Data for individual wetlands covers different time periods based on different phases of studies and sensor battery failures. In shallow, ephemeral wetlands these instruments were installed in the deepest point in the basin. In permanent wetlands, instruments were positioned as deeply as possible in proximity to vegetative indicators of permanent water (e.g. Nuphar, Cephalanthus). Additionally, an Onset Comp U20 sensor was deployed sub-aerially to correct water levels for atmospheric pressure. Sites were visited approximately quarterly to read staff gages and download data from transducers. Staff gages were read to the nearest hundredth of a foot. Data were adjusted based on the periodic staff gage readings and barometric pressure readings using features in the software HOBOware (Onset Corporation). The mention of firm, product, or trade names is done so for informative purposes only and does not constitute and recommendation or endorsement by the federal government.

공공데이터포털
This dataset contains the approximate location of 59 wetlands that were monitored as part of the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) Amphibian Research and Monitoring Initiative (ARMI). Note, these were preliminary points used for locating the wetlands in the field and they may not fall directly within a wetlands boundary. The later surveying of pond boundaries provides more accurate locations. These point locations were collected with a Garmin GPSmap62 unit. The mention of firm, product, or trade names is done so for informative purposes only and does not constitute and recommendation or endorsement by the federal government.

Water quality and quantity monitoring data package for measurements collected within national parks of the Northeast Temperate Network, 2006-2024
공공데이터포털
The Northeast Temperate Network (NETN) monitors water quality and water quantity at 9 national park sites to document the status and trends of their lake, pond, and stream resources. NPS scientists have collected standardized measurements of stream discharge, stream and lake stage, water transparency, in situ water quality (temperature, dissolved oxygen, pH, etc), and other measurements from May to October every year beginning in 2006. Water samples were also collected each year to measure nitrogen and phosphorus to assess potential nutrient enrichment. This data package contains a cumulative record of all water monitoring data collected at NPS IMD NETN park units through the most recent field season and is organized into twelve (12) datasets: Chemistry_Data_Long_YYYYMMDD.csv – water sample chemistry and nutrient data (e.g., TN, TP, ANC, Chl-a). Long format. Chemistry_Data_Wide_YYYYMMDD.csv – water sample chemistry and nutrient data (e.g., TN, TP, ANC, Chl-a). Wide format. Discharge_Data_YYYYMMDD.csv – stream flow data collected by a current meter. Event_Info_YYYYMMDD.csv – sampling event-level data (e.g., date, observer, meteorological conditions, etc.) Light_Penetration_Data_YYYYMMDD.csv – profiles of photosynthetically active radiation collected by a light meter. Secchi_Data_YYYYMMDD.csv – Secchi disk depth data. Sites_Lake_YYYYMMDD.csv – precise location data and descriptive information for NETN lake sites. Sites_Stream_YYYYMMDD.csv – precise location data and descriptive information for NETN stream sites. Sonde_InSitu_Data_YYYYMMDD.csv – profiles of in situ multiparameter sonde measurement data (e.g., specific conductance, pH, DO, etc.). StageDatum_Info_YYYYMMDD.csv – information on water level benchmarks (e.g., elevation, datum type, etc.). StreamSite_Observations_YYYYMMDD.csv – specific observations about water appearance (e.g., color, algae type, etc.). WaterLevel_Data_YYYYMMDD.csv – water surface heights relative to established benchmarks, including partial and continuous gage station elevation records.
