The data in this accession contains files of Joint Global Ocean Flux Study (JGOFS) North Atlantic Bloom Experiment Biogenic Sediment Trap Flux data collected by Dr. S. Honjo of Woods Hole. Data were collected from one mooring at 34N 21W with three traps arrayed at 1km and 2km from the surface and 0.7 km above the sea floor between April 1989 to April 1990. Samples were analyzed to determine concentrations of carbonate, biogenic opal; organic carbon, nitrogen, and hydrogen (from decalcified fraction) and phosphorus. An 80 character, 225 record documentation file is also filed under this reference number.

Sediments properties and other data were collected from a fixed platform in the Pacific Ocean from February 2, 1992 to January 7, 1993. Data were submitted by Dr. Robert Collier from the Oregon State University. These data were collected using sediment trap.

This data set consists of the results of the Nearshore Sediment Transport Study at Torrey Pines Beach, California. These data were submitted on 8 tapes in unformatted binary format. The data are divided into 8 physical tapes with several logical tape numbers (LT) within the tapes. TP1-TP8 (LT 2) describes the results of the Scripps Shelf and Shore data (SAS); (L00911) The Field measurements of Surf; L00912 - represents the University of Washington data; L00913 - represents the Beach and Offshore Survey data. These data have been archived to the following 18-track cartridges: Nearshore Sediment Transport Study, Torrey Pines Beach, CA.
