Traditional and geometric morphometric data describing wild and artificially reared cisco (Coregonus artedi) from lakes Huron and Ontario
These data describe morphometric (body shape) measurements of wild and artificially reared (i.e., raised in a laboratory or fish hatchery) cisco (Coregonus artedi) from lakes Huron and Ontario in the Laurentian Great Lakes. Specifically, this data release includes traditional morphometric data (i.e., measurements of fish specimens) describing wild and artificially reared cisco from Lake Huron, as well as geometric morphometric data (i.e., landmarks placed on images of fish) describing cisco head shapes for wild and artificially reared cisco from both lakes Huron and Ontario. Artificially reared individuals from Lake Huron were raised at the U.S. Geological Survey Great Lakes Science Center in Ann Arbor, MI, USA, and one family of offspring were split among three rearing temperature treatments. Artificially reared individuals from Lake Ontario were raised at the Tunison Laboratory of Aquatic Science in Cortland, NY, USA. These data were collected by the authors on this data release from 2017-2023 and used to analyze the impacts of artificial rearing on cisco body shapes, with a focus on head shapes.

Morphometric measurements of Cisco (Coregonus artedi) from Lake Ontario 2018
공공데이터포털
These data contain morphometric measurements collected on the left side of Cisco (Coregonus artedi) collected from Lake Ontario in 2018. Measurements were obtained by two methods, first by direct measurements made on the thawed specimens using a hand caliper by one person, then using a digital image technique. The digital image measurements were completed by two different measurers to evaluate how reproducible measurements extracted from digital images were between the two measurers.
Amino Acid Imprinted Cisco Behavioral Data, 2017-2021
공공데이터포털
4+ year old cisco (Coregonus artedi) pre-spawn and spawning/near-spawning behavioral data were collected and compiled at the Tunison Laboratory of Aquatic Science in Cortland, NY USA, between August-October 2021 and November-December 2021. Data are comprised of fish reactions in choice flume video data (attractance/avoidance). Cisco were exposed/not exposed to an imprinting chemical (amino acids: alanine, histidine, morpholine, proline, and serine) through early life stages, and later tested based on their treatment to see how individuals reacted to the presence of exposure chemicals during subsequent life stages. These data show how the adult stage cisco of this study ((non exposed (control) and treatment (amino acid exposed)) react to timed exposure of morpholine dilution at the 4+ year life stages.
California Native Fish Species by Watershed [ds1353]
공공데이터포털
This dataset was created using the 123 PISCES extant species range layers listed below in the table. The PISCES datasets were converted to rasters using GIS and then map algebra was used to calculate the total number of species in each huc12 watershed. Using GIS, an extended table was created to provide species lists by watershed using a one to many table relate. Species presence data was provided by PISCES: Moyle, Quinones and Bell (direct addition), Moyle and Randall (gstpoly), . These layers were generated by PISCES on 10/30/2014. Geochemical, grain size, lithological, diatom, bathymetric, and age model data for Wildcat Lake, Point Reyes National Seashore 2021
공공데이터포털
These data are the geochemical (from X-ray fluorescence spectrometry), grain size, lithological (loss on ignition), diatom assemblages (taxa counts), bathymetric, and radioactive isotopes (210-Pb, 137-Cs) from sediments from Wildcat Lake, Point Reyes National Seashore, California, USA starting in 2021. Taken together, they provide evidence for extreme precipitation events linked to atmospheric rivers. They also indicate anthropogenic involvement in the watershed.

This dataset includes five ESRI ArcMap shapefiles to provide metadata for those shapefiles. Additional, within the attribute table of each shapefile is a data field titled "SHP_Source" that provides a brief description of the public data sources used to create the shapefile. These data include aquatic non-native species presence in waters of the Laurentian Great Lakes, US and Canadian population for urban areas around the Great Lakes, locations of marinas and ports in the Great Lakes, and data on maritime commerce within the Great Lakes. This dataset is associated with the following publication: O'Malia, E., L. Johnson, and J. Hoffman.
