The dataset of water temperature, salinity, and oxygen profiles was obtained during the Pacific Oceanographic Cruise XLVIII, conducted between March 2nd and 26th, 2009, by the Pacific Pollution Control Center (CCCP) of the General Maritime Directorate (DIMAR), aboard the research vessel ARC Malpelo, covering 44 stations located throughout the Colombian Pacific basin, to evaluate the oceanographic and meteorological conditions, with the purpose of knowing the behavior and anticipate T/S/O2 evolution associated with the El Niño Southern Oscillation (ENSO). Data are in CSV format.

The dataset of water temperature, salinity, and dissolved oxygen CTD profiles was obtained during the Pacific Oceanographic Cruise LVI / XX Joint Regional Oceanographic Research Cruise in the Southeast Pacific, conducted between September 17th and October 13th, 2017, by the Pacific Oceanographic and Hydrographic Research Center (CCCP) of the General Maritime Directorate (DIMAR), aboard the research vessel ARC Gorgona, covering 44 stations located throughout the basin Colombian Pacific, to continue with the Regional Study of the El Niño Phenomenon (ERFEN) program, evaluating the oceanographic and meteorological conditions of the basin Colombian Pacific. The dataset of water temperature, and salinity profiles was obtained during the Pacific Oceanographic Cruise XXXVII / ERFEN XXV, developed between September 3rd and 22nd, 2002, by the Pacific Pollution Control Center (CCCP) of the General Maritime Directorate (DIMAR), aboard the research vessel ARC Providencia, covering 36 stations located throughout the Colombian Pacific basin, with the objective to characterize the stratification of the water column to determine the behavior of physical, chemical and biological parameters of the ocean, in order to obtain information that allows establishing a relationships whit the El Niño-Southern Oscillation (ENSO) event. This report contains data from R/V Sikuliaq cruise SKQ201617S to the eastern tropical north pacific oxygen deficient zone. The objective of the cruise was to study denitrification and anammox processes. The cruise took place between December 2016 and January 2017 in an area bounded by 25N-14N and 112W-104W. Two data sets are included. The first is the 1-meter binned CTD data while the second is the bottle cast data and contains nutrient values for nitrate, nitrite, silicate, phosphate and ammonium. The data were collected as part of NSF grant number 1542240 to Gabrielle Rocap, Rick Keil, Allan Devol, and Curtis Deutsch. CTD data has been reprocessed and aligned and outliers have been removed. Nutrient samples were filtered (GFF glass fiber) before analysis and analyzed using the US-JGOFS protocols (http://usjgofs.whoi.edu/protocols_rpt_19.html). All data are considered final. This dataset includes discrete profile measurements of temperature, salinity and dissolved oxygen collected during the R/V James Clark Ross cruise JR16002, SR1B (EXPOCODE 74JC20161110) in the South Atlantic Ocean, Southern Ocean from 2016-11-10 to 2016-12-03. Data were collected and made publicly available by GO-SHIP program with National Capability funding from the UK Natural Environment Research Council to the National Oceanography Centre Southampton.

This dataset includes chemical, discrete sample, physical and profile data collected from BOSEI MARU NO. 2 in the North Pacific Ocean from 1994-01-15 to 1994-02-04 and retrieved during cruise PACIFICA_49EW19940115 and WOCE P02C. These data include DISSOLVED OXYGEN, HYDROSTATIC PRESSURE, NITRATE + NITRITE CONTENT (CONCENTRATION), PHOSPHATE, Potential temperature (theta), SALINITY, SILICATE and WATER TEMPERATURE. The instruments used to collect these data include CTD and bottle. These data were collected by Masao Fukasawa of Japan Agency for Marine-Earth Science and Technology (JAMSTEC) as part of the PACIFICA_49EW19940115 dataset. PACIFICA (PACIFic ocean Interior CArbon) was an international collaborative project for the data synthesis of ocean interior carbon and its related parameters in the Pacific Ocean. The North Pacific Marine Science Organization (PICES), Section of Carbon and Climate (S-CC) supported the project.

These data were collected by Nathan Bindoff of Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (CSIRO) as part of the WOCE_SR03_1995 dataset. CDIAC associated the following cruise ID(s) with this dataset: WOCE_SR03_1995. The World Ocean Circulation Experiment (WOCE) was a major component of the World Climate Research Program with the overall goal of better understanding the ocean's role in climate and climatic changes resulting from both natural and anthropogenic causes. The CO2 survey took advantage of the sampling opportunities provided by the WOCE Hydrographic Program (WHP) cruises during this period between 1990 and 1998. The final collection covers approximately 23,000 stations from 94 WOCE cruises.
