NMFS groundfish, bottom trawl survey, sea temperature, salinity, and other data from numerous platforms in the Bering Sea, Gulf of Alaska and coastal waters of Alaska from 1976-08-09 to 1998-02-07 (NCEI Accession 9800168)
공공데이터포털
This dataset contains primarily sea temperatures data and salinity records resultant from NMFS Alaska Fisheries Science Center groundfish bottom trawl surveys, Bering Sea, Gulf of Alaska and U.S. west coast surveys, from approx. Aug. 1976 to Sept. 1997. The records in the file EVENT.LST tie directly to the records in the file PROFILE.LST, keying on vessel, cruise and event. Also, the PROFILE.LST cruises are in no particular order, for example, the data records begin with a 1982 Bering Sea cruise made by the vessel Pat San Marie. The files are ASCII text and were extracted from the NMFS RACEBase Oracle data base.
FISH SPECIES and Other Data from MULTIPLE SHIPS From NW Atlantic (limit-40 W) from 1974-06-03 to 1975-06-02 (NCEI Accession 8300071)
공공데이터포털
Spawning season data of Mid-Atlantic finfish, collected by various ships (Delaware II, Albatross II, Atl. Twin, Xiphias, and the Rorqual) as part of study "The Biology of Marine Finfish" done by Sandy Hook Laboratory of National Marine Fisheries Service, Highlands, NJ. Data parameters include: Vessel, cruise number, Latitude, Longitude, date, time, distance fished, depth, wind and current measurements, gear descriptions (mesh size, number of floats, length of trawl, etc), taxonomy, sex, age, stomach and gut contents, egg color, number, and condition. Data were originally recorded on a 9-track tape in EBCDIC (1600 BPI) and have been converted into current NODC data storage format. The documentation includes a detailed description of the record format.
Fish Communities of the Nearshore Beaufort Sea, Alaska, Across Three Decades, 1988-2019
공공데이터포털
This dataset contains two tables comprising catch per unit effort (CPUE) data and length measurements from fish surveys conducted in the nearshore Beaufort Sea, Alaska, between 1988 and 2019. Historical data collected by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) includes fish catch and fish length data (measured from a subset of the total catch) from two eras, 1988-1991 and 2003-2005, in the eastern Beaufort Sea (Arctic National Wildlife Refuge). Similar data was collected by the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) from a subset of the historical eastern Beaufort Sea sites and some additional central Beaufort Sea (Simpson Lagoon and Stefansson Sound) sites more recently, 2017-2019. Here we have compiled and standardized datasets from the three eras of fish surveys.
