Anchorage, Alaska municipality Elodea Points Surveyed
공공데이터포털
This tabular dataset contains information pertaining to the presence or absence of Elodea at randomly selected sites within the littoral zone of prioritized lakes within the Anchorage, Alaska municipality area. Data were acquired through the use of ESRI's FieldMaps application. Visual observations and rake throws within a 10 meter by 10 meter area were used to evaluate the presence of Elodea following the sampling protocol outlined in "Fulkerson, J. (2023). Standard Operating Procedure for Elodea Detection in Alaska Lakes. Alaska Center for Conservation Science".

Anchorage, Alaska elodea survey proposed sampling locations
공공데이터포털
Collection of tabular data sets (.csv) containing year-specific proposed sampling points within inland waterbodies of the Anchorage, Alaska municipality. In 2023 and 2024, proposed sample sites were created using ArcGIS tool developed by and detailed in the Fulkerson 2023 SOP 1 using waterbody boundaries defined by NHD Plus data. In future years, sample points are selected using NHD Plus waterbody boundaries, dropping grids over the waterbody (50 meter cell sizes for lake boundaies less than 3 kilometers; otherwise 100 meters), and selecting random sites within the littoral zone. Litorral zones are defined by creating a 150 meter buffer from the lake boundary and any depths less than 30 feet as designated by lake bathymetry layers.

Anchorage, Alaska Municipality Elodea Infestation Extent Polygons
공공데이터포털
This polygon layer contains extents of Elodea infestations identified within the Anchorage, Alaska municipality. Polygons were created in the field using the ESRI's Field Map application. Sampling protocol follows "Fulkerson, J. (2023). Standard Operating Procedure for Elodea Detection in Alaska Lakes. Alaska Center for Conservation Science". Once Elodea were detected at a given site, the crew will delineate the extent of the Elodea infestation, either visually or using rake throws and draw a polygon in the Field Map application delineating the extent of a given infestation.

Invasive Plant Inventory at Ellicott Slough National Wildlife Refuge- Data Documentation
공공데이터포털
In 2019, an invasive plant inventory of priority invasive plant species in priority areas was conducted at Ellicott Slough National Wildlife Refuge. Results from this effort will inform the development of invasive plant management objectives, strategies, and serves as a baseline for assessing change in the status of invasive plant distribution or abundance over time.

Northern Alaska Non-native Plant Survey data
공공데이터포털
Tabular datasets relating to invasive species detections in the northern Alaskan area. Data pertain to invasive species surveys conducted on the Arctic, Tetlin, and Kanuti National Wildlife Refuges by the Alaskan Invasive Species Program teams. Data were collected using a Survey123 form. Data were subsequently downloaded from the ArcGIS feature layer and manual quality control was performed at the end of each season by the project lead. Data were then reformatted to align with the AKEPIC data submission template (https://accs.uaa.alaska.edu/invasive-species/submit-data-to-akepic/) for submitting detection of invasive species information into the Alaska Exotic Plants Information Clearinghouse (AKEPIC) designed and run by the University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA) Alaska Center for Conservation Science (ACCS).
