A. SUMMARY This dataset contains daily counts of warnings and citations issued by the SFMTA’s Automated Speed Enforcement program, broken down by camera. Some enforcement locations have two cameras to monitor traffic in both directions. To show which direction a camera is facing, a directional abbreviation is used—like NB for northbound, meaning traffic heading north. The dataset also includes the average speed of vehicles that received warnings or citations, as well as citation counts categorized by how much the vehicle exceeded the speed limit:

This dataset reflects the daily volume of violations that have occurred in Children's Safety Zones for each camera. The data reflects violations that occurred from July 1, 2014 until present, minus the most recent 14 days. This data may change due to occasional time lags between the capturing of a potential violation and the processing and determination of a violation. The most recent 14 days are not shown due to revised data being submitted to the City of Chicago. The reported violations are those that have been collected by the camera and radar system and reviewed by two separate City contractors. In some instances, due to the inability the registered owner of the offending vehicle, the violation may not be issued as a citation. However, this dataset contains all violations regardless of whether a citation was issued, which provides an accurate view into the Automated Speed Enforcement Program violations taking place in Children's Safety Zones. This information compares the number of vehicles passing a camera with the number of fines detected by the camera.

This data provides annual lists of the top 20 cameras for speeding fines. The address of the camera site and the number of infringements is provided for each camera.

Monthly Infringement count and value displayed by camera location, penalty, vehicle type and client type. The penalty amount and the infringement count are penalties that occurred within the date described in the offence month. This dataset will not contain any offences or fines since June 2021. Row level offences and fines since July 2021 can be found by searching Traffic and Camera Offences and Fines

This information compares the number of vehicles passing a camera with the number of fines detected by the camera.
