공공데이터포털
This set of hydrographic casts are from two cruises. These cruises were part of a Department of Energy sponsored program entitled Pollutant Transport and Sediment Dispersal in the Washington-Oregon Coastal Zone. The program included CTD temperature, salinity, pressure and transmissivity observations. The focus of the study was investigate the effect of a narrow submarine canyon on the low-frequency mid-depth shelf circulation.
Pressure, water temperature and bottom depth data from THOMAS G. THOMPSON in the Northeast Pacific Ocean from 1968-04-01 to 1968-05-02 (NCEI Accession 8700378)
공공데이터포털
Temperature and salinity data collected for the O.N.R. - Study of Mid-Pacific Transition Zone on cruise TT-027 of RV Thomas G. Thompson from 4/1/68 to 5/2/68. Data has been processed by NODC to the NODC standard High-Resolution CTD/STD (F022) format. The F022 format contains high-resolution data collected using CTD (conductivity-temperature-depth) and STD (salinity-temperature-depth) instruments. As they are lowered and raised in the oceans, these electronic devices provide nearly continuous profiles of temperature, salinity, and other parameters. Data values may be subject to averaging or filtering or obtained by interpolation and may be reported at depth intervals as fine as 1m. Cruise and instrument information, position, date, time and sampling interval are reported for each station. Environmental data at the time of the cast (meteorological and sea surface conditions) may also be reported. The data record comprises values of temperature, salinity or conductivity, density (computed sigma-t), and possibly dissolved oxygen or transmissivity at specified depth or pressure levels. Data may be reported at either equally or unequally spaced depth or pressure intervals. A text record is available for comments.
WATER TEMPERATURE and other data from THOMAS G. THOMPSON in the Coastal Waters of Western U.S. from 1986-10-24 to 1986-10-26 (NCEI Accession 8700200)
공공데이터포털
Data has been processed by NODC to the NODC standard Bathythermograph (XBT) (C116) format. The C116/C118 format contains temperature-depth profile data obtained using expendable bathythermograph (XBT) instruments. Cruise information, position, date and time were reported for each observation. The data record was comprised of pairs of temperature-depth values. Unlike the MBT Data File, in which temperature values were recorded at uniform 5 m intervals, the XBT data files contained temperature values at non-uniform depths. These depths were recorded at the minimum number of points ("inflection points") required to accurately define the temperature curve. Standard XBTs can obtain profiles to depths of either 450 or 760 m. With special instruments, measurements can be obtained to 1830 m. Prior to July 1994, XBT data were routinely processed to one of these standard types. XBT data are now processed and loaded directly in to the NODC Ocean Profile Data Base (OPDB). Historic data from these two data types were loaded into the OPDB.
Temperature, salinity, oxygen, nutrients and productivity profile data from THOMAS G. THOMPSON Cruise 001 in the Caribbean Sea and the northeastern tropical Pacific Ocean from 1965-10-14 to 1965-12-07 (NCEI Accession 7100507)
공공데이터포털
This dataset contains a copy of University of Washington Department of Oceanography Technical Report No. 249, Physical, chemical, and productivity data from a survey of the Caribbean Sea and the northeastern tropical Pacific Ocean, RV Thomas G. Thompson Cruise 001: 14 October - 7 December 1965. The report contains tabulated physical and chemical data collected in 1965 during Cruise 001 of RV Thomas G. Thompson as part of Operation Catalyst and describes the methods of collection and analysis employed. Digital representation of these data are available in NCEI accession 6500000 and from the NODC World Ocean Database. Productivity and chlorophyll data collected in the northeastern tropical Pacific Ocean are included in the appendix.

Physical, chemical and biological CTD and bottle data from R/V Thomas G. Thompson cruise TN278 in eastern tropical North Pacific Ocean from 2012-03-19 to 2012-04-20 (NCEI Accession 0109846)
공공데이터포털
This report contains data from R/V Thomas G. Thompson cruise TN278 to the eastern tropical north pacific oxygen deficient zone. The objective of the cruise was to study denitrification and anammox processes. The cruise took place between March and April in 2012 in an area bounded by 26N-14N and 102W-114.5W. Two data sets are included. The first is the 1-meter binned CTD data while the second is the bottle cast data and contains nutrient values for nitrate, nitrite, silicate, phosphate and ammonium. The data were collected as part of NSF grant number OCE-1029316 to Allan Devol. CTD data has been reprocessed and aligned and outliers have been removed. Nutrient samples were filtered (GFF glass fiber) before analysis and analyzed using the US-JGOFS protocols (http://usjgofs.whoi.edu/protocols_rpt_19.html). All data are considered final.
