Longline data collected by commercial fishery vessels in 1952-1959 in the Central North Pacific
공공데이터포털
Longline catch data collected by commercial fishery vessels. Collected data include gear information and individual species' morphometric data (length, weight, and sex). Marsden square entered for location information. Latitude and longitude are found in the RP022AA1 (CONF) dataset.
Detailed Information on longline data collected by commercial fishery vessels in 1952, 1954, 1955 and 1959
공공데이터포털
This data set contains catch (numbers) and effort data from RP022 and RP023 data collected by commercial fishery vessels. Date, latitude, longitude, float line length, mainline length, gear type, number of hooks per basket, number of baskets fished, number of hooks fished and number of various tunas, sharks, marlins and fishes caught are included in this dataset.
Experimental pelagic surface longline data collected during NOAA R/V Townsend Cromwell cruise in 1990 at the SE Hancock Seamount
공공데이터포털
During Townsend Cromwell (TC) Cruise 90-06, experimental pelagic longlining was conducted for swordfish, Xiphias gladius. Pelagic longline gear consisted of a 0.79 cm diameter nylon/cotton line, which is negatively buoyant. Length of mainline was initially 2,055 m but was later expanded to 2,878 m. During the first five sets, No. 28 circle hooks were used with a dropper length of 1 m. Thereafter, length of 3.6 m were used. During most sets the mainline was buoyed to the surface at 411 m interval and droppers attached to the mainline at 14.5 m intervals. On each set, a single blue or green chemiluminescent Cyalume stick was attached to the snap end of every other dropper. The majority of sets had hooks baited with whole Loligo squid. All sets were soaked during the night; soak time was 2.5-3.5 hours.
Experimental midwater horizontal longline and vertical longline data collected during a NOAA R/V Townsend Cromwell cruise in 1989 at the SE Hancock Seamount
공공데이터포털
Midwater longline operations were fished both in a horizontal (targeting a particular depth stratum) and vertical manner over the seamount summit and slopes. All midwater longline operations were conducted at night. For midwater horizontal longline operations, gear was set to fish within scattering layers over the summit and upper slopes. Because of difficulty in minimizing the amount of sag in the main line and the lack of catch, the midwater horizontal longline gear was modified and fished as a vertical longline. Each vertical longline set consisted of two to three vertical strings.
Longline catch data collected during research cruises in 1950-1960, 1962-1964, 1966-1970 and 1973 in the Pacific Ocean and 1964 in the Indian Ocean
공공데이터포털
Longline catch data were collected during research cruises in 1950 - 1960, 1962 - 1964, 1966 - 1970 and 1973. Collected data include gear information and individual species' morphometric data (length, weight, and sex). Marsden square and time zone entered for location information. Latitude and longitude are found in the RP022AA1 (RSCH) dataset.
Gill Net Fishing Log data collected during 1981-1983 Hokusei Maru research cruises in the main Hawaiian Islands
공공데이터포털
This data set contains gill net fishing data collected by the Hokusei Maru in 1981, 1982 and 1983, in waters around the main Hawaiian Islands. Length and weight of individual species were collected.
Handline Fishing Log data collected by NOAA Research Vessel Townsend Cromwell from 1982 to 1994 in the Central and Western Pacific Ocean and NOAA Research Vessel Oscar E Sette in 2007 and 2009 in the Northwestern Hawaiian Islands
공공데이터포털
Bottomfish handline operations were conducted by NOAA research vessel Townsend Cromwell from 1982 to 1994 in the Central and Western Pacific Ocean to determine distribution, abundance and composition of snappers and groupers and to collect biological data of those species. NOAA research vessel Oscar E Sette also conducted bottomfish handline operations during one cruise in 2007 and another cruise in 2009 in the Northwestern Hawaiian Islands. Catch and effort data and fish length measurements were collected.

공공데이터포털
Experimental vertical longline sets were deployed during 3 cruises of NOAA R/V Townsend Cromwell at the Hancock Seamounts in 1985 and 1987. Collected data included set and haul date, time, position, gear configuration and species caught.
