This file is released in support of the Redistricting Data (P.L. 94-171) Summary File. The shapefiles represent geographic linear features as of January 1, 2010. The files also contain attribute information about these features, such as names, the type of feature, the geographic relationship to other features, and other related information. The 2010 Redistricting Shapefiles include data for all 50 states, the District of Columbia and the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. This file is only provided for the State of Arkansas.

Census Tracts from 2010 census, from US Census Bureau

Census Blocks from the 2010 US Census for New York City clipped to the shoreline. These boundary files are derived from the US Census Bureau's TIGER project and have been geographically modified to fit the New York City base map. Because some census blocks are under water not all census blocks are contained in this file, only census blocks that are partially or totally located on land have been mapped in this file. All previously released versions of this data are available at DCP Website: BYTES of the BIG APPLE.

This file can be used as a tool to append geographic codes to geocoded point data. The file was developed by Pitt's Center for Social and Urban Research and provides the county, census tract, county subarea/municipality, Allegheny County Council District, PA House and Senate District numbers, school district, and Zip codes. Also included from the City of Pittsburgh: neighborhoods, wards, City Council election districts, and City administrative boundaries, including Permits Licenses and Inspection administrative zones, Public Works administrative zones, Fire districts, and Police zones. The file contains data from Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Fayette, Greene, Indiana, Lawrence, Washington, and Westmoreland Counties in Pennsylvania.
