,This dataset contains information on building permit applications in the Town of Cary. This file is created from the Town of Cary permit application data. It has been created to conform to the BLDS open data specification for building permit data (permitdata.org). In the Town of Cary, a permit application may result in the creation of several permits. Rows in this table represent applications for permits, not individual permits. Individual permits may be released as a separate dataset. With the exception of a few fields, we have applied all of the required and preferred fields of the required dataset for permits. This dataset includes information about building permits issued by the City of Chicago from 2006 to the present, excluding permits that have been voided or revoked after issuance. Most types of permits are issued subject to payment of the applicable permit fee. Work under a permit may not begin until the applicable permit fee is paid. Note: Starting on 12/10/2024 this dataset will only publish new records (rows) that are added and update any existing records that have updated information. New and updated records can be identified by using the data_as_of and data_loaded_at fields. To identify the most recent date when the dataset was last updated, use the maximum data_as_of or data_loaded_at value. This data set pertains to contacts associated with building permits. Data includes application/permit numbers, contact name, address, and license numbers. Data is uploaded weekly by DBI. This data set is intended to be joined to the Building Permits data set.
