Water-surface elevations derived from submersible pressure transducers deployed along the Salcha River, Alaska, July-October 2018
공공데이터포털
The U.S. Geological Survey deployed seven submersible pressure transducers on the bottom of the Salcha River in July 2018. An additional transducer was left out of the water to correct for barometric pressure fluctuations. At the time of deployment, the bank position near each transducer and the water-surface elevation were measured with real-time kinematic GPS equipment. The transducers collected a depth measurement every 15-min until the recovery of five of the seven in October. We adjusted the water elevation measured at deployment by the difference between the depth measured at deployment and each subsequent depth measurement to derive the water-surface elevation at 15-min intervals. The data included as part of this release include the horizontal location of the five transducers and water-surface elevation at the time of deployment. In addition, the date, time, water temperature, barometric pressure control reading, barometric pressure compensated depth measurement, and computed water-surface elevation are reported for each recovered transducer.
Water Surface Elevation Data from the Siletz River, 2017-18
공공데이터포털
Water-surface elevations were recorded by 12 submerged pressure transducers deployed from fall 2017 to summer 2018 along an approximately 25-km reach of the Siletz River, Oregon. All pressure transducers were deployed in the main channel of the Siletz River. The water-surface elevations were surveyed by using a real-time kinematic global positioning system (RTK-GPS) at each pressure sensor location. Data from 10 of the 12 loggers were used to calibrate hydraulic models for sections of the Siletz River.
Water Level, Temperature, and Discharge of Headwater Streams in the Yukon River Basin, Alaska, 2016 and 2017
공공데이터포털
This data set includes 15-minute interval data on stream temperature, stage, and discharge from low-order streams in the Yukon River Basin in interior Alaska, collected during the summer months. The depth of the water and temperature were determined using a combined pressure transducer and temperature sensor that was deployed through the summer months. Different sensors were used in each stream and year, so a file is included detailing the stage and temperature accuracy for each year and stream. Discharge was derived from the stage data by creating a rating curve relating stage to discharge measured during site visits.
Surface Water and Groundwater Hydrology and Temperature, Beaver Creek, Kenai Peninsula, Alaska, 2022-2023

Computed Streamflow Using Satellite Data for Selected Rivers in Alaska
공공데이터포털
Relations between water-surface elevation data derived from satellite altimetry and dynamic surface water extent data derived from LANDSAT imagery data were used with a modified Manning's equation to compute remotely sensed streamflows (RSQ) at locations on the Tanana, Yukon, Susitna, Nushagak, Copper, Koyukuk and Knik Rivers in Alaska using satellite data. Data are organized into zip archives named for each study reach. Refer to the README file in each study reach archive for additional reach-specific details.
Historical Landsat-Derived Water Surface Temperature for Three Large Alaska Rivers 1984-2022
공공데이터포털
This data package includes 17,014 pairs of raster geotiffs. Each pair is made up of two geotiff rasters derived from historical observations from Landsat satellites (04-09) over the Yukon, Kuskokwim, and Tanana rivers in Alaska. One raster reports estimated mid-day water surface temperature (ST) in degrees Celsius (deg_Cc). The second raster reports the surface temperature quality assessment (sST_QA_c) and provides the ST product uncertainty (also in degrees). The period of observation is May through October for the years 1984-2022.
4 Output Data for the precalibration, byHRU and byPOIobs releases of the Alaska NHM-PRMS, 1980 – 2021
공공데이터포털
This data release contains inputs for and outputs from hydrologic simulations for the Alaska (AK) domain using the Precipitation Runoff Modeling System (PRMS) version 5.2.1.1 and the USGS National Hydrologic Model infrastructure (NHM, Regan and others, 2018). These data document the PRMS output data files for the precalibration and byHRU release runs for the AK domain produced for the period 1980-2021. Each .zip folder contains 15 NHM-PRMS output variables, in NetCDF format, for each simulation's release run and the Water-Budget Files with the model-domain summary table of the AK domain are also included in this child item (Markstrom and others, 2015; Hay and others, 2023). The main landing page provides additional information and a data dictionary (output_variables_data_dictionary.csv) which describes the selected output variables. CONTENTS OF THIS CHILD PAGE: 1. AK_byHRU_NHM_PRMS_data_release.out = AK byHRU annual water balance summary 1980-2021. 2. AK_precal_NHM_PRMS_data_release.out = AK precalibration annual water balance summary 1980-2021. 3. AK_byHRU_netcdf.zip = Folder containing outputs from the byHRU release run for the AK domain. 4.
