Physical oceanographic data were collected from NOAA Ship RAINIER west of Prince of Wales Island from 16 May 2008 to 16 June 2008. Data were collected from CTD casts and parameters include temperature and salinity profiles. Data are self documenting and are in plain ASCII text. The Office of Protected Resources (OPR) is a headquarter program office of NOAA's National Marine Fisheries Service (NOAA Fisheries Service, or NMFS), under the U.S. Department of Commerce, with responsibility for protecting marine mammals and endangered marine life. (from Office of Protected Resource web page). These data were collected for project OPR-0190_RA-08.

Temperature and salinity profiles from CTD casts from NOAA Ship RAINIER in the Gulf of Alaska from 1992-06-10 to 1992-08-02 (NCEI Accession 9200243)
공공데이터포털
The Conductivity, Temperature and Depth (CTD) data were collected in Gulf of Alaska. Data was collected from NOAA Ship RAINIER. The data was collected over a period spanning from June 10, 1992 and August 2, 1992. Data was submitted in a diskettes by Dr. Gunnar Roden, National Ocean Service, Seattle, WA. Data has been processed and is also available in F022-CTD-Hi Resolution file format of NODC. F022 High-resolution CTD data is collected from high resolution (conductivity-temperature-depth) instruments. As they are lowered and raised in the oceans, these electronic devices provide nearly continuous profiles of temperature, salinity and other parameters. Data values may be subject to averaging or filtering or obtained by interpolation and may be reported at depth intervals as fine as 1 m. Cruise and instrument information, position, date, time and sampling interval are reported for each station. Environmental data at the time of the cast (meteorological and sea surface conditions) may also be reported. The data record comprises values of temperature, salinity or conductivity and density at specified depth or pressure levels. Data may be reported at either equally or unequally spaced depth or pressure intervals.
