WATER TEMPERATURE and other data from UNKNOWN from 1972-05-08 to 1972-05-25 (NCEI Accession 9200062)
The sound velocity data in this accession were collected from unknown platforms in May 1972 by Japanese. The sound velocity in water is analog profiles data that was recorded in stripcharts by Japanese. Radio logs are forms that contain time, weather latitude/longitude, vessel id, ship id, etc. These are radioed every two hours to some military center. One line per strip chart. Some strip charts have time/date/ship id/latitude/longitude annotated on the strip chart. Twenty two stripcharts and radio logs were submitted to NODC by Hydrographic Division, Maritime Safety Agency, Tokyo, Japan.

SOUND VELOCITY and Other Data from BARRY from 1993-08-01 to 1994-08-31 (NCEI Accession 9400153)
공공데이터포털
The sound velocity data in this accession were collected from ship BARRY between August 1, 1993 and August 31, 1994 by US Navy. The sound velocity in water analog profiles data that were recorded in stripcharts. Radio logs are forms that contain time, weather latitude/longitude, vessel id, ship id, etc. These were radioed every two hours to a US Navy facility. One line per strip chart. Some strip charts have time/date/ship id/latitude/longitude annotated on the strip chart. Ninety stripcharts and radio logs were submitted to NODC by the US Navy, San Diego, CA. These profile strip charts have not yet been digitized. The analog charts may be reviewed by special arrangement with NODC.
WATER TEMPERATURE and Other Data from FIXED PLATFORM from 1987-05-01 to 1987-09-30 (NCEI Accession 9500010)
공공데이터포털
The accession contains one Ocean Acoustic Tomography data set. The sound velocity was collected by Peter Worcester of Scripps Institution of Oceanography, La Jolla, CA between May 1, 1987 and September 30, 1987. The data was submitted by Dr. Brian Dushaw, University of Washington via FTP. The data was received by NODC via Sid Stillwaugh. Each file contains all of the ray travel-time data collected by a source/receiver pair during the experiment (three transceivers, six files). The file is broken into three sections: 1) 1st section is a one line text record describing the parameters of the experiment. 2) 2nd section is six lines describing properties of the resolved ray paths. Each column of this section describes the properties of a ray path which corresponds to the same column of travel times of the third section. 3) 3rd section contains the time of transmission (in yearday) and the ray travel times. Each line is a year day and a set of travel times of ray arrivals. Each column is a time series of ray travel times for the ray path which was described in the corresponding column of the second section.

공공데이터포털
Data contains two versions of a Long Island Sound Data Set collected between August 9-14, 1971. Data was originally collected by SUNY at Stony Brook and automated by SCI, Inc. This data was obtained from SCI. 53 stations were sampled for chlorophyll, oxygen, nitrate, nitrite, phosphate, ammonia, and urea. Additionally, physical parameters such as temperature, salinity, density, transmissivity, and current velocity were included. The report prepared by C.D. Hardy, 1972 entitled "MOVEMENT AND QUALITY OF LONG ISLAND SOUND WATERS 1971", Marine Sciences Research Center, SUNY at Stony Brook, Technical Report #17 provides documentation regarding the data format.
