Caltrans Emergency Road Closures
Caltrans Emergency Road Closures due to incidents impacts. This layer is updated from information provided by Caltrans Headquarters Communication Center in support of state emergency response efforts for 2022 incidents. These closures represent Slides, Flooding, Slide removal, Snow, Wash Out, Wildfire, Adverse Weather, Storm/Fire Related Repairs, Road Damage, or Slip-out initiated restrictions on highway locations. Caltrans emergency road closures data represents highway postmile segment lengths closed related to wildfire impacts and safety concerns. These road closures are identified and reported by departmental field staff, Traffic Management Centers (TMCs), and compiled by Caltrans Headquarters Communication Center in coordination and support of law enforcement and fire officials. Caltrans statewide Highway Condition Reporting Requirements (HCRR) enable the timely notification and collection of road restriction information that includes: Caltrans district, California county, type of road restriction, geographic location, postmiles, detour if applicable, and temporal information on closure and estimated opening times. This service will be updated as road closures are reported by Caltrans HQ Communication Center and remain supported for the duration of California statewide wildfire support and coordination efforts. Additional information on Caltrans postmile system and road closures can be found by visiting the Caltrans Postmile Service application and the Caltrans Quickmap web application. For current highway conditions please visit Caltrans Road Information. For GIS related inquiries of this data, please contact Caltrans HQ Division of Maintenance GIS

Office of Highway System Information and Performance - 2022 Crash Data on State Highway System
공공데이터포털
The Crash Data On California State Highways Report is produced annually by the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) to provide high level summaries of road miles, travel, crashes and crash rates on the California State Highway System. This table lists statewide vehicle travel expressed in Million Vehicle Miles (MVM), road miles, and one and three year crash rates and fatality rates based on lane types and population codes. While crash rates for total crash and fatal + injury crashes are calculated per MVM, fatality rates are expressed per 100 MVM.
Temporary Street Closures in the Work Zone Data Exchange (WZDx) Format
공공데이터포털
A. SUMMARY This dataset contains upcoming and current permitted street and lane closures occurring as a result of the Shared Spaces program, certain special events, and some construction work. This dataset only includes street closures permitted by the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA). It doesn’t include street closures managed by other City departments such as Public Works or the Police Department. More details regarding these street closures can be found here. B. HOW THE DATASET IS CREATED The data is exported from the Street Closures Salesforce database maintained by the SFMTA ISCOTT unit and the construction closure Access database maintained by SFMTA STP unit. It is converted to the standard Work Zone Data Exchange (WZDx) format per the United States Department of Transportation (USDOT). More information is available from the USDOT's WZDx site and the official WZDx Specification on GitHub. C. UPDATE PROCESS This report is issued and posted here daily. D. HOW TO USE THIS DATASET The WZDx standard allows infrastructure owners and operators make harmonized work zone data available for third party use. The intended audience includes 511 and navigation systems (both for human drivers and automated driving systems).
