Plans to improve two substandard streets in Southeast Austin are advancing to the next phase of development, and community feedback will help shape the final designs for both projects.

The City of Austin evaluated Circle S Road as part of the 2016 Mobility Bond. This preliminary engineering project evaluated road conditions for possible future design and construction opportunities on Circle S Road between Eberhart Lane and Foremost Drive.

The City of Austin evaluated Davis Lane as part of the 2016 Mobility Bond. This preliminary engineering project evaluated road conditions for possible future design and construction opportunities for two segments of Davis Lane, Brodie Lane to West Gate Boulevard and Leo Street to Manchaca Road.

The NSW Roads and Traffic Authority (RTA) proposes to upgrade Victoria Road to improve the efficiency and reliability of bus services and alleviate traffic congestion between Gladesville Bridge and The Crescent, Rozelle. The proposal seeks to provide peak direction bus lanes. This may involve the implementation of tidal flow traffic schemes and/or duplicating Iron Cove Bridge and bus bays. The proposal is in the development phase, which includes planning, investigation, concept design and this preliminary environmental investigation.

This review identifies and assesses changes to the original 1996 proposal in terms of justification, road design, funding and updating the environmental impact assessment in terms of legislative changes and changes to the site environment.

The Review of Environmental Factors (REF) has been prepared to assess the potential impacts of the proposed upgrading of Mona Vale Road between Addison Road and Ingleside Road, Ingleside, Sydney, NSW. It presents details of the Proposal, assesses the existing natural and social environments, describes the potential impacts on the environment, and presents safeguards to minimise and/or remove these identified impacts. The REF includes a consideration of Clause 82 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Regulation, 1994.
