The FTC produces the Consumer Sentinel Network Data Book annually using a data set of fraud, identity theft, and other reports from consumers received by the Consumer Sentinel Network. These include reports made directly by consumers to the FTC, as well as reports received by federal, state, local, and international law enforcement agencies and other non-governmental organizations. This data set includes national statistics, as well as a state-by-state listing of top report categories in each state and a listing of metropolitan areas that generated the most complaints per capita, for calendar year 2018. This data set contains statistical data about phone numbers on the Registry, telemarketers and sellers accessing phone numbers on the Registry, and complaints consumers submit to the FTC about telemarketers allegedly violating the Do Not Call rules for Fiscal Year 2018. Statistical data on Do Not Call (DNC) complaints is based on unverified complaints reported by consumers, not on a consumer survey.

NCCDB is a web-based information system for recording and reporting on household goods, safety violation, hazardous material, cargo tank and passenger complaints. NCCDB allows the public and FMCSA staff to submit complaints using an online form. The database contains, among other information, reports on inspection and test of cargo tanks and inventory of tanks. These reports are used in the development and amendment to regulations of cargo security which is the protection of cargo from theft.
