This dataset lists monthly station entry averages, by day type (Weekday, Saturday or Sunday/Holiday), as well as monthly totals, beginning in 2001. Note that some stations (such as on the Cermak Branch--now Pink Line) and Skokie did not have Saturday and/or Sunday/holiday service until more recent years, although, in cases where weekday service ran past midnight, late evening fares may appear as part of Saturday tallies.

Port Authority Monthly Average Ridership by Route

This dataset contains the average weekday, Saturday, and Sunday ridership by route for every month since January 2017. The aggregated ridership data allows quick study of trends over time and identification of problem areas for further analysis. Bus, light rail (the "T"), and incline ridership data is included. Routes and bus stops may change at every "pick" or quarterly schedule change in March, June, September, and November.
Average Weekday Interstate Ferry Ridership Figures for Port Authority: Beginning 1998

This dataset provides average weekday ridership trends on New York/New Jersey interstate ferry routes. It counts ridership as unlinked trips, covering both directions of travel between the two states. It includes only scheduled interstate ferry services, and excludes tour and charter trips. The dataset provides separate totals columns for ferry terminals serving Midtown (W 39th St/Pier 79) and Downtown (Pier 11 and the World Financial Center).
