Temperature profile and other data were collected using CTD casts in the Northeast Pacific Ocean and Coastal Waters of California from June 15, 2000 to January 17, 2001. Data were submitted by Pacific Marine Environmental Laboratory (PMEL) as part of the Fisheries-Oceanography Coordinated Investigations (FOCI) project.

Physical profile data were collected using CTD casts in the Coastal Waters of California from R/V POINT SUR. Data were collected from 09 February 1992 to 16 June 1992 by Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California.

Temperature profile data were collected using CTD casts in the Northeast Pacific Ocean from the NAVIGATION RESPONSE TEAM 6 from 07 October 2004 to 19 July 2005. Data were submitted by Ruby L. Becker of National Ocean Service in Silver Spring, Maryland.

Temperature profile, conductivity, pressure, and other data were collected using CTD casts in the Pacific Ocean from 01 June 1985 to 31 August 2001. Data were submitted by Pacific Marine Environmental Laboratory as part of the Vents Program.

CTD data were collected from CTD casts from NOAA Ship DISCOVERER and NOAA Ship SURVEYOR in the Northeast Pacific Ocean from 03 June 1985 to 21 September 1988. Data were collected by the Pacific Marine Environmental Laboratory (PMEL) as part of the VENTS program. Data were processed by NODC to the NODC standard F022 High Resolution STD/CTD data format. The F022 format contains high-resolution data collected using CTD (conductivity-temperature-depth) and STD (salinity-temperature-depth) instruments. As they are lowered and raised in the oceans, these electronic devices provide nearly continuous profiles of temperature, salinity, and other parameters. Data values may be subject to averaging or filtering or obtained by interpolation and may be reported at depth intervals as fine as 1m. Cruise and instrument information, position, date, time and sampling interval are reported for each station. Environmental data at the time of the cast (meteorological and sea surface conditions) may also be reported. The data record comprises values of temperature, salinity or conductivity, density (computed sigma-t), and possibly dissolved oxygen or transmissivity at specified depth or pressure levels. Data may be reported at either equally or unequally spaced depth or pressure intervals. A text record is available for comments.

CTD and other data were collected by the National Ocean Service's Response Team No. 2 in the Gulf of Mexico from 25 January 2001 to 05 May 2001. Data include temperature and salinity profiles. Data are in the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute (WHOI) CTD exchange format.

These profile data were collected from CDT casts aboard the Thomas G. Thompson in the Northeast Pacific as part of an effort to understand the cause of the near-bottom water column silica anomaly within Cascadia Basin. This data was used, along with historical casts, to constrain an inverse model of the bottom water circulation off the the coast of Washington, August 3 - 16, 2006.

Hydrographic data were collected from CTD casts in the coastal waters of California from the E.B. SCRIPPS and the R.G. SPROUL. Data were collected by the School of Ocean Earth Science and Technology, University of Hawaii from 13 August 1984 to 27 July 1985. Parameters include water temperature, salinity, sigma-t, and water depth.

Temperature profile and pressure data were collected from the NAVIGATION RESPONSE TEAM 3 from January 5, 2000 to September 5, 2000. Data were submitted by National Ocean Service (NOS) using CTD casts in the Northeast Pacific Ocean.
