DCD v1.0
Delta Channel Depletion (DCD v1.0) is an extension of Delta Evapotranspiration of Applied Water (DETAWv2.0). Based on the estimation of Delta ground surface water balance by DETAW v2.0, DCD v1.0 simulates the daily channel depletions, including diversions, drainages and seepages, in the Sacramento-San Joaquin River Delta and distributes them on the Delta Simulation Model 2(DSM2) nodes. The package includes the model code, model inputs, technical reports, preliminary user’s manual, and necessary software to support the model.

The package includes the model code, model inputs, technical reports, preliminary user’s manual, and necessary software to support the model. The model can run and produce the daily actual crop ET and root zone water balance related terms by using this package provided historical simulation inputs.

DSM2 V8.2.0b1 release applies the daily DCD v1.0 channel depletions. Main differences with DSM2 V8.1.2 release: 1. DCD v1.0 daily channel depletions, including diversions, drainages, and seepages, replace the monthly values produced by DICU. 2. The sizes of the arrays related to channel depletions in DSM2 code have been expanded to load the daily data instead of the monthly data. Hydro and Qual have been recomplied accordingly. 3. The dispersion coefficients in the conflunence area of Sacramento River and San Joaquin River have been adjusted due to the new daily channal depletions. 4. The pathnames to retrieve the DCD v1.0 data in the Hydro time series inp file have been modified..
