This data set contains the ground-water-level contours derived from ground-water monitoring sites in Carson Valley, west-central Nevada. The data set is part of a spatial ground-water data base in Carson Valley.

This data set consists of digital continuous geologic data for the Carson River Basin, Nevada and California. It was compiled from individual county 1:250,000-scale geologic data for Pershing, Churchill, Lyon, Carson City, and Douglas Counties in Nevada and the Walker Lake 1 degree by 2 degree quadrangle geology. This data set contains detailed geologic formation and generalized geologic data.

This data set contains the monitoring sites where water levels were collected and used to develop a spatial ground-water data base in Carson Valley, west-central Nevada. The ground-water data were collected from 48 shallow wells during a 3 week period in April and May 1998.

This data set consists of depth to ground water contours for hydrographic-area (HA) 153, Diamond Valley, Nevada. These data represent static ground-water levels measured in the HA during March and April of 2001. These data were created as part of an effort to provide statewide information on water table and depth to ground water for Nevada. Digital water-table contours from 38 published reports representing data from 1947 to 2004 were combined to create a single statewide data set. Water-table contours for Diamond Valley were published in 1968 (Harrill, 1968), the depth to water has increased by tens of feet in this basin, however, so more recent data were needed to estimate current contours. This data set and the associated water-table data were used to develop raster based models of water table and depth to ground water. This dataset consists of polygons representing approximate areas of water-level decline for the middle Carson River basin, Nevada as published on figure 14 in the U.S. Geological Survey Scientific Investigations Report 2011-5055.

This data release consists of 1:24,000-scale polylines and polygons representing hydrographic areas for the middle Carson River basin, Nevada.

This dataset consists of 1:500,000-scale polygons of geologic units grouped into hydrogeologic units and estimated specific yield ranges for the easternmost 4–5 miles of the middle Carson River basin as published on figure 3 in the U.S. Geological Survey Scientific Investigations Report 2011-5055. This dataset does not extend to the western side of the study area. The dataset titled "1:100,000-scale hydrogeologic units and estimates of specific yield, western part of middle Carson River basin, Nevada (from U.S. Geological Survey Scientific Investigations Report 2011-5055, figure 3)" was used for the western part of the study area.

This data set contains the potentiometric water-level altitude contours representing the 2009 potentiometric surface of the basin fill groundwater system of Dixie Valley, west-central Nevada.

This dataset consists of 1:100,000-scale polygons of geologic units grouped into hydrogeologic units and estimated specific yield ranges for the western part of the middle Carson River basin as published on figure 3 in the U.S. Geological Survey Scientific Investigations Report 2011-5055. This dataset does not extend to the eastern side of the study area. The dataset titled "1:500,000-scale hydrogeologic units and estimates of specific yield, eastern part of middle Carson River basin, Nevada (from U.S. Geological Survey Scientific Investigations Report 2011-5055, figure 3)" was used for the easternmost 4–5 miles of the study area.
