Argon data for: Elemental, isotopic, and geochronological variability in Mogollon-Datil Volcanic Province, New Mexico
This dataset accompanies publication 'Elemental, isotopic, and geochronological variability in Mogollon-Datil Volcanic Province archaeological obsidian, Southwestern New Mexico: Solving issues of inter-source discrimination', to be published in Geoarchaeology, which studied the ability of isotopic and argon geochronologic analyses to discriminate between archaeological obsidian sources in the Mogollon-Datil volcanic province.

Argon geochronology data for La Garita caldera
공공데이터포털
This dataset accompanies publication 'A supervolcano and its sidekicks: A 100 ka eruptive chronology of the Fish Canyon Tuff and associated units of the La Garita magmatic system', in review in Geology, which analyzed eruptive products from the La Garita caldera.

Data release of geospatial map database, argon geochronology and geochemistry data for: Geologic map of the San Antonio Mountain area, northern New Mexico and southern Colorado
공공데이터포털
This dataset accompanies publication "Geologic map of the San Antonio Mountain area, northern New Mexico and southern Colorado". Data presented here include the digital geologic database, 40Ar/39Ar geochronology and major and trace element chemistry from lava flows and an ignimbrite. The geologic database includes spatial feature classes and non-spatial tables that collectively contain the geologic information presented in the map plate. 40Ar/39Ar geochronologic analyses and geochemical data constrain temporal and stratigraphic relations for deposits associated with the Taos Plateau volcanic field, late Oligocene to Miocene basaltic volcanism, and the San Juan Mountains locus of the Southern Rocky Mountains volcanic field along the western margin of the San Luis Basin situated in northern New Mexico and southern Colorado, USA.

Argon data for Central Andes (Domeyko Range, Chile)
공공데이터포털
This dataset accompanies planned publication 'Gondwanan inheritance on the building of the western Central Andes (Domeyko Range, Chile): Structural and thermochronological approach (U-Pb and 40Ar-39Ar)'. The Ar/Ar data is for samples that record the sedimentation of the area. The geochronology provides time constraints for the sedimentation studied in the manuscript. Samples were collected from the Domeyko Range by Mauricio Espinoza (University of Concepcion, Chile), who sent them to the USGS Denver Argon Geochronology Laboratory for Ar/Ar analysis.

Argon data for Southern Patagonian Andes
공공데이터포털
This dataset accompanies planned publication 'Detrital record of the Late Oligocene – Early Miocene mafic volcanic arc in the Southern Patagonian Andes (~51°S) from single-clast geochronology and trace element geochemistry'. The Ar/Ar data is for samples that record the detrital sedimentary record of the basin. The geochronology provides time constraints for the sedimentation studied in the manuscript. Samples were collected from the Magallanes-Austral Basin, and collection was supervised by Julie Fosdick, who sent them to the USGS for Ar/Ar analysis.

Data release for geochronology and geochemistry of volcanic rocks in the Southern Rocky Mountains and Taos Plateau volcanic fields and other Oligocene to Pleistocene volcanic rocks within the southern San Luis Basin and San Juan Mountains, southern Colorado and northern New Mexico
공공데이터포털
The dataset includes whole-rock geochemistry and 40Ar-39Ar geochronology for Pleistocene to Oligocene volcanic and intrusive rocks. These data support figures and tables in days 2 and 3 of the Field-trip guide to continental arc to rift volcanism of the southern Rocky Mountains-Southern Rocky Mountain, Taos Plateau, and Jemez Mountains volcanic fields of southern Colorado and northern New Mexico (Thompson and others, 2022). Additional 40Ar-39Ar geochronology data are included for age reported in the Geologic map of Ute Mountain quadrangle (Thompson and others, 2014b) and the Geologic map of Sunshine quadrangle (Thompson and others, 2014a). Other samples not associated with any of these referenced publications are also included. > There may be slight variation in the ages reported here and other previously reported ages on the geologic maps for the Sunshine and Ute Mountain quadrangles (Thompson and others 2014a,b) and some ages originally reported on the Geologic map of the San Antonio Mountain area (Turner and others, 2017) due to statistical methods used in calculating the age.
