Seagrass density and biomass, and related data from seagrass monitoring station LM-151 in Laguna Madre Texas from 1989-03-24 to 2022-06-23 (NCEI Accession 0282643)
This dataset contains raw sampling data beginning in 1989 for a long-term environmental and seagrass monitoring station in Laguna Madre (“LM-151”). This project served to understand environmental drivers of long-term changes in seagrass condition within the Upper Laguna Madre, Texas. Environmental parameters measured within the water column include water depth, dissolved oxygen concentration, underwater light level, pH, salinity, Secchi depth (turbidity), water temperature, total suspended solids, and dissolved inorganic nitrogen and ammonium. Seagrass biological parameters measured are above/belowground biomass and shoot density. Typical seagrass species represented within the data include Halodule wrightii (shoal grass) and Syringodium filiforme (manatee grass). Sampling was dependent on funding/resource availability and local weather conditions, therefore temporal gaps in data may exist. Data are provided in CSV format.

Oceanographic data collected from non-federal stations assembled by the Southern California Coastal Ocean Observing System (SCCOOS)
공공데이터포털
This dataset contains physical and meteorological data collected from non-Federal stations throughout the Southern California region of the United States. The data is predominantly long time series at fixed moorings and buoys with a variety of instruments including CTDs, fluorometers, oxygen sensors, optical turbidity sensors, pH sensors, and water quality sensors. The data files are in netCDF format, following the Climate and Forecast metadata convention (CF) and the Attribute Convention for Data Discovery (ACDD). Southern California Coastal Ocean Observing System (SCCOOS), which assembles data from sub-regional coastal and ocean observing systems, submitted the data to NCEI as part of the Integrated Ocean Observing System Data Assembly Centers (IOOS DACs) Data Stewardship Program.
Oceanographic data collected from station Newport Pier in the Coastal Waters of California by University of California, Irvine, and assembled by Southern California Coastal Ocean Observing System (SCCOOS) Regional Association from 2005-06-16 to 2020-12-31 (NCEI Accession 0157034)
공공데이터포털
This dataset contains oceanographic and surface meteorological data collected from an automated shore station with a suite of sensors that are attached to Newport Pier along the nearshore California coast. These automated sensors measure CHLOROPHYLL A CONCENTRATION, CONDUCTIVITY, DEPTH - OBSERVATION, HYDROSTATIC PRESSURE, SALINITY, WATER DENSITY and WATER TEMPERATURE at frequent intervals in the nearshore coastal ocean. These data can provide local and regional information on mixing and upwelling, land run-off, and algal blooms. University of California, Irvine, collected the data and provided the data to SCCOOS, which assembles data from University of California, Irvine, and other sub-regional coastal and ocean observing systems of the Southern California Coastal United States, submitted the data to NCEI as part of the Integrated Ocean Observing System Data Assembly Centers (IOOS DACs) Data Stewardship Program. The data are made available in netCDF formatted files, which follow the Climate and Forecast metadata convention (CF) and the Attribute Convention for Data Discovery (ACDD). Each quarter, NCEI adds to this dataset the data collected or updated during the previous quarter.
Seagrass canopy height, water depth, chlorophyll-a concentration and other plant and water quality indicators in Coastal Waters of Texas (NCEI Accession 0181898)
공공데이터포털
This dataset contains raw tier 2 sampling data starting from 2011 for Texas coastal waters related to seagrasses. Parameters measured include chlorophyll a concentration, water depth, dissolved oxygen, light attenuation, pH, salinity, Secchi depth, water temperature, total suspended solids, seagrass canopy height, and seagrass percent cover. Typical species represented within the data include Halodule wrightii, Thalassia testudinum, Syringodium filiforme, Halophila engelmannii, and Ruppia maritima. Sampling takes place at 567 permanent stations in Aransas and Redfish Bays, Corpus Christi Bay, and Upper and Lower Laguna Madre. Latitudes and longitudes for station locations are based on the NAD83 datum. There was limited sampling in 2016. This dataset also includes opportunistic sampling in Little Bay, San Antonio Bay, and Galveston Bay, as well as analytically measured tissue content of carbon, nitrogen, and phosphorus in Halodule wrightii and Thalassia testudinum plant samples collected from Aransas and Redfish Bays, Corpus Christi Bay, and the Laguna Madre along with stable isotope data from those samples. Data are provided in CSV format.

Gulf of Carpentaria Seagrass Data 1983-1994
공공데이터포털
Seagrass biomass, density and morphometrics were measured at sites around Groote Eylandt and Albatross Bay in the Gulf of Carpentaria. Environmental data such as depth were also collected at a number of sites. Transect data was collected to give a qualitative assessment of these parameters.
