This dataset is available on Brisbane City Council’s open data website – data.brisbane.qld.gov.au. The site provides additional features for viewing and interacting with the data and for downloading the data in various formats. A set of employment forecasts which reflect the Brisbane City Council view of the likely SEQ Regional Employment patterns in the period between 2011 and 2041. These were prepared by the National Institute of Economic and Industrial Research. Brisbane City Council forecasts of employment by ANZSIC 2 at SA2 geography. Figures are for Usual Resident Employment.

Brisbane City Plan 2014 is Brisbane City Council's plan for the future development of Brisbane. Brisbane City Plan 2014 is regularly updated with new or amended information. To stay informed about City Plan, including proposed amendments and to receive other Council planning and development updates, you can register your interest. This feature class is shown on the Local Government Infrastructure Plan maps - Priority Infrastructure Area mapping(map reference: A1). This feature class includes the following category: (a) Priority Infrastructure Area The Priority Infrastructure Area (PIA) identifies the area of Brisbane City Council prioritised for the provision of trunk infrastructure to service the existing and assumed future urban development up to 2031. This boundary area is used, or approved for use, for— (i) residential purposes, other than rural residential purposes; or (ii) industrial, retail or commercial purposes; or (iii) community or government purposes related to a purpose stated in subparagraph (i) or (ii); and (iv) that will accommodate at least 10, but no more than 15 years of growth for any of those purposes. Shown on maps A1 and A2 from schedule 3.3 of Local Government Infrastructure Plan maps. For more information about the Priority Infrastructure Area and how it is applied, please refer to the Brisbane City Plan 2014 document.
