EK80 Water Column Sonar Data Collected During AR88
The Northeast U.S. Shelf Long-Term Ecological Research program (NES-LTER) is designed to improve our ability to predict how climate change will affect the dynamics of the shelfâs planktonic food webs and their ability to support the productivity of higher trophic levels. Ship-based field osbervations were conducted 4 times a year with multidisciplinary measurements of physical, biological, and chemical properties in the ocean.
