공공데이터포털
This dataset contains daily measurements of bottom pressure and round-trip acoustic travel time from three pressure-equipped inverted echo sounder (PIES) moorings deployed in the southwest South Atlantic Ocean from 2016-10-24 to 2019-06-26 as part of the Southwest Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation (SAM) Project. The SAM Project is funded by the NOAA Ocean Observing and Monitoring Division and by the NOAA Atlantic Oceanographic and Meteorological Laboratory. Both the processed daily records and the raw hourly measurements are included. The three PIES in this dataset were deployed at the following nominal locations - Site A: 51deg 30min W, 34deg 30min S Site C: 47deg 30min W, 34deg 30min S Site D: 44deg 30min W, 34deg 30min S The PIES mooring at Site D was recovered in 2018; the PIES moorings at Sites A and C were recovered in 2019. The metadata on the nominal locations and other details of the observing array are the same as for accession 0125596. Data from previous deployments are contained in accessions 0125596 and 0175745. Data are in ASCII format.

Inverted echo sounder measurements collected in the Japan/East Sea, from 1999-06-08 to 2001-07-25, under the sponsorship of the Office of Naval Research (NCEI Accession 0002331)
공공데이터포털
Observations were conducted from June 1999 to July 2001 to study the shallow and deep current variability in the southwest Japan/East Sea. Data were collected during the field experiment with a two-dimensional array of pressure-gauge equipped inverted echo sounders (PIES) and deep recording current meters (RCM). Hourly measurements of vertical acoustic travel time, pressure, temperature and horizontal currents are provided. Additional processing has been done to provide data sets which can easily be used together as a coherent array. The travel time records have been projected on to a common depth level, low-pass filtered, and subsampled to twice daily. The low-pass filtered, subsampled pressures have been adjusted to a common, deep geopotential surface. Small gaps in the current measurements have been replaced by fitted-spline interpolated values.

Water temperature, acoustic travel time, pressure, and currents taken by current and pressure recording inverted echo sounder offshore of Oregon in the Northeast Pacific Ocean from 2017-04-27 to 2017-11-11 (NCEI Accession 0201488)
공공데이터포털
This data set contains vertical acoustic travel time, bottom pressure and temperature, as well as near-bottom current and temperature taken by four current and pressure recording inverted echo sounders (CPIES) near the Cascadia subduction zone offshore of Oregon from 2017-04-27 to 2017-11-11. Near-bottom velocities were also measured by a current meter on a separate mooring between August and November 2017. The CPIES data are the highest quality versions with the least amount of processing. The collection and processing of the data are described in the report provided. Data are in NetCDF.
Water temperature, acoustic travel time, pressure and currents taken by current and pressure recording inverted echo sounders as part of QUICCHE in the Southeast Atlantic Ocean (limit-20 W) from 2023-03-17 to 2024-04-03 (NCEI Accession 0301731)

The goal of QUantifying Interocean fluxes in the Cape Cauldron Hotspot of Eddy kinetic energy (QUICCHE) was to observe mixing and stirring in the Cape Basin in the southeast Atlantic Ocean across time and space scales ranging from seconds to months and from centimeters to tens of kilometers using a variety of sensors and platforms. As part of QUICCHE, two inverted echo sounders equipped with bottom pressure gauges and current meters (CPIES) were deployed at sites designated CP01 and CP02 at 4676 and 4895 m depth respectively, from March 2023 to April 2024. The CPIES data are the highest quality versions with the least amount of processing. The collection and processing of the data are described in the report provided. Data are in NetCDF.
