WATER TEMPERATURE and other data from NOAA Ship RESEARCHER, NOAA Ship MILLER FREEMAN and other platforms in the Gulf of Mexico, NW Atlantic and NE Pacific from 1987-01-08 to 1987-07-01 (NCEI Accession 8700254)
공공데이터포털
Temperature profile data were collected using XBT and BT casts from NOAA Ship RESEARCHER and other platforms in the Gulf of Mexico and Northwest Atlantic Ocean from 08 January 1987 to 01 July 1987. Data were collected by the Atlantic Oceanographic and Meteorological Laboratory (AOML) Miami, Florida and other institutions with support from the Equatorial Pacific Ocean Climate Studies (EPOCS) and SubTropical Atlantic Climate Studies (STACS) projects. Data were processed by NODC to the NODC standard Universal Bathythermograph Output (UBT) format. The UBT file format is used for temperature-depth profile data obtained using expendable bathythermograph (XBT) instruments. Standard XBTs can obtain profiles at depths of about 450 or 760 m. With special instruments, measurements can be obtained to 1830 m. Cruise information, position, date, and time are reported for each observation. The data record comprises pairs of temperature-depth values. Unlike the MBT data file, in which temperature values are recorded at uniform 5m intervals, the XBT Data File contains temperature values at non-uniform depths. These depths are at a minimum number of points ("inflection points") required to record the temperature curve to an acceptable degree of accuracy. On output, however, the user may request temperature values either at inflection points or interpolated to uniform depth increments.
WATER TEMPERATURE and other data from SEA-LAND DEFENDER, NOAA Ship DELAWARE II and other platforms in the Gulf of Mexico, North Pacific Ocean and North Atlantic Ocean from 1986-10-11 to 1991-11-30 (NCEI Accession 9200076)
공공데이터포털
This dataset contains 73 sets of data collected as part of Shipboard Environmental data Acquisition System (SEAS) III program in North Pacific Ocean, North Atlantic Ocean, and Gulf of Mexico. The cruises were conducted using 27 different ships. The bathythermograph (XBT) data was collected between October 11, 1986 and November 30, 1991. The data was sent from the cruise ships to the National Ocean Service, Rockville, MD via telecommunication. This data is currently available in the C116 file format of NODC.
WATER TEMPERATURE and Other Data from NOAA Ship OCEANOGRAPHER From North Pacific Ocean from 1978-04-26 to 1979-03-22 (NCEI Accession 7900309)
공공데이터포털
Biological data from the Deep Ocean Mining Environmental Study (DOMES) was submitted by R.J. Ozretich from the University of Washington. The data were collected in the North Pacific ocean on three cruises of the OCEANOGRAPHER from April 26, 1978 to March 22, 1979. The cruises can be identified by the following reference numbers: RP01OC78 - L01008; RP13OC78 - L01009; and RP09OC79 - L01010. The parameters reported are temperature, salinity, oxygen, apparent oxygen utilization (AOU), nutrients (PH, Si, NO3, NO2, NH4), ATP, chlorophyll and phaeopigment concentrations. Original DOMES hydro data submitted on tape has been converted into the current NODC data storage format.
PRESSURE - WATER and Other Data from NOAA Ship DELAWARE II and Other Platforms From NW Atlantic (limit-40 W) and Others from 1998-01-24 to 1998-11-19 (NCEI Accession 9900018)
공공데이터포털
Temperature and salinity profiles were collected from CTD casts in the NW Atlantic Ocean (Hatteras to Nova Scotia) from NOAA Ship Albatross IV and NOAA Ship Delaware II. Data were collected from 24 January 1998 to 19 November 1998 by NOAA/NMFS as part of their routine fisheries monitoring/assessment activities.
WATER TEMPERATURE and other data from NOAA Ship MILLER FREEMAN and NOAA Ship CHAPMAN from 1990-02-14 to 1990-06-27 (NCEI Accession 9200046)
공공데이터포털
The depth data in this accession was collected as part of South Atlantic Ventilation Experiment (SAVE). The cruises were conducted using NOAA Ship MILLER FREEMAN and NOAA Ship CHAPMAN. The bathythermograph (XBT) data was collected between February 14, 1990 and June 27, 1990.
Temperature profile and water depth data collected from NOAA Ship DELAWARE II and NOAA Ship ALBATROSS IV in the NW Atlantic (limit-40 W) from 1986-09-14 to 1986-10-23 (NCEI Accession 8700163)
공공데이터포털
Temperature profile and water depth data were collected using BT and XBT from NOAA Ship DELAWARE II and NOAA Ship ALBATROSS IV in the Northwest Atlantic Ocean. Data were collected from 14 September 1986 to 23 October 1986 by the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) Data has been processed by NODC to the NODC standard Bathythermograph (XBT) (C116) format. The C116/C118 format contains temperature-depth profile data obtained using expendable bathythermograph (XBT) instruments. Cruise information, position, date and time were reported for each observation. The data record was comprised of pairs of temperature-depth values. Unlike the MBT Data File, in which temperature values were recorded at uniform 5 m intervals, the XBT data files contained temperature values at non-uniform depths. These depths were recorded at the minimum number of points ("inflection points") required to accurately define the temperature curve. Standard XBTs can obtain profiles to depths of either 450 or 760 m. With special instruments, measurements can be obtained to 1830 m. Prior to July 1994, XBT data were routinely processed to one of these standard types. XBT data are now processed and loaded directly in to the NODC Ocean Profile Data Base (OPDB). Historic data from these two data types were loaded into the OPDB.
