Food Banks, United States, 2015, EPA Region 9
This GIS dataset contains point features that represent facilities that recover excess food to feed people across the US. Food bank information was collected in 2015 from Feeding America(www.feedingamerica.org), a national organization for food banks, and includes food banks as well as Partner Distribution Organizations (PDO) and Regional Distribution Organizations (RDO). Sources of annual excess food weight are described in EPAs 2019 publication: Technical Methodology for the EPA Excess Food Opportunities Map. The dataset contains 316 facilities.

공공데이터포털
This table lists anaerobic digestion (AD) facilities, some of which currently accept excess food as a feedstock. The data was compiled from lists maintained by US EPA's Sustainable Management of Food team and the AgSTAR program, and through data available at http://www.resourcerecoverydata.org/ and https://www.biosolidsdata.org/ as described in EPA’s 2023 publication: EPA Excess Food Opportunities Map Version 3 - Technical Methodology. This dataset contains 1,635 facilities.

공공데이터포털
This table lists anaerobic digestion (AD) facilities associated with the Food Waste Recipient Count by Zip Code GIS dataset. This table identifies operational AD facilities that could potentially accept excess food for beneficial use. The data was compiled from lists maintained by US EPA staff and the AgSTAR program, and through data available at www.biogasdata.org. Facilities included in this database appear to be operational as of 2015 unless otherwise noted in the metadata, though not all facilities presently accept food. This dataset contains 1,381 facilities.
