Marine Mammal and Sea Turtle Survey
공공데이터포털
The Marine Mammal and Sea Turtle Survey, conducted by the Conservation Ecology Branch at the Northeast Fisheries Science Center, develops abundance and distribution models that incorporate environmental factors to better understand how protected species such as whales, dolphins, and sea turtles use our waters. The program coordinates the data collection and analysis efforts of NOAA Fisheries Northeast and Southeast Science Centers and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Division of Migratory Birds. Through these efforts, we are providing enhanced data to managers and supporting conservation initiatives.
Hawaii ESI: REPTILES (Reptile and Amphibian Polygons)
공공데이터포털
This data set contains sensitive biological resource data for threatened/endangered sea turtles in coastal Hawaii. Vector polygons in this data set represent sea turtle concentration areas, and nesting and basking locations. Species-specific abundance, seasonality, status, life history, and source information are stored in relational data tables (described below) designed to be used in conjunction with this spatial data layer. This data set comprises a portion of the Environmental Sensitivity Index (ESI) data for Hawaii. ESI data characterize the marine and coastal environments and wildlife by their sensitivity to spilled oil. The ESI data include information for three main components: shoreline habitats, sensitive biological resources, and human-use resources. See also the REPTPT (Reptile and Amphibian Points) data layer, part of the larger Hawaii ESI database, for additional sea turtle information.
Maryland ESI: REPTILES (Reptile and Amphibian Polygons)
공공데이터포털
This data set contains sensitive biological resource data for sea turtles, estuarine turtles, and rare reptiles and amphibians in Maryland. Vector polygons in this data set represent turtle and other rare reptile/amphibian distribution and nesting areas. Species-specific abundance, seasonality, status, life history, and source information are stored in relational data tables (described below) designed to be used in conjunction with this spatial data layer. This data set comprises a portion of the Environmental Sensitivity Index (ESI) data for Maryland. Elkhorn and Staghorn Corals Critical Habitat
공공데이터포털
These data represent the critical habitat for elkhorn coral (Acropora palmata) and staghorn coral (A. cervicornis) as designated by 73 FR 72210, November 26, 2008, Rules and Regulations.
Sea Turtle Life History Database
공공데이터포털
Species identification, morphometrics, tagging information, hooking locations, and gear and interaction characteristics are recorded by fisheries observers and NMFS researchers during incidental encounters with sea turtles. Pelagic longline, shark bottom longline, and driftnet observer data relating to the incidental capture of sea turtles during fishing activity are used in bycatch reports, sea turtle life history research, bycatch mitigation research, and for management purposes.
Johnsons Seagrass Critical Habitat
공공데이터포털
These data represent the critical habitat for Johnson's Seagrass as designated by Federal Register Vol. 65, No. 66, Wednesday, April 5, 2000, Rules and Regulations.

공공데이터포털
Critical habitat in the Caribbean Sea area includes the waters adjacent to Sandy Point, St. Croix from the 100 fathom curve shoreward to the level of mean high tide.Critical habitat in the Pacific Ocean areas includes marine waters to a depth of 80 meters from the ocean surface and is delineated along the shoreline at the line of extreme low water, except in the case of estuaries and bays where COLREGS lines (defined at 33 CFR part 80) are used as the shoreward boundary. The seaward boundary of the nearshore Washington/Oregon area (from Cape Flattery south to Cape Blanco) is defined along the 2,000 meter isobath. The seaward boundary of the nearshore California area (from Point Arena south to Point Arguello) is defined along the 3,000 meter isobath.
Use of coral reefs by hawksbill turtles in the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary
공공데이터포털
Ongoing mark-recapture and satellite tagging are being conducted to understand how public use of reefs impacts hawksbill turtle habitat use and relative abundance
