It has been created to conform to the BLDS open data specification for building permit data (permitdata.org). In the Town of Cary, a permit application may result in the creation of several permits. Rows in this table represent applications for permits, not individual permits. Individual permits may be released as a separate dataset. With the exception of a few fields, we have applied all of the required and preferred fields of the required dataset for permits.
