Licensed Advisory Organizations in Iowa
An advisory organization is an entity, including all its affiliated subsidiaries, either having two or more member insurers or is controlled directly or indirectly by two or more insurers, and which assists insurers with rate making related activities as detailed in sections 515F.10 and 515F.11. Two or more insurers under common ownership or operating in this state under common management or control, constitutes a single insurer for purposes of this definition.
