Datasets documenting neotectonic mapping of Puerto Rico
공공데이터포털
This data release documents neotectonic mapping of fault-related features on high-resolution lidar-derived topography, data documenting an exposure of the South Lajas fault, and summary information for active and potentially active Quaternary faults on the island of Puerto Rico. The data documenting the exposure of the South Lajas fault include detailed unit descriptions, radiocarbon sample descriptions, data, and results, and a structure-from-motion-derived orthophoto mosaic of the exposure. Luminescence data and ages for the exposure can be found in a related data release. These datasets are associated with the manuscript: Thompson Jobe, J. A. R. Briggs, K. S. Hughes, J. Joyce, R. Gold, S. Mahan, H. Gray, L. Strickland (in review). Neotectonic mapping of Puerto Rico.

Supporting data for “Late Pleistocene kinematics of the Great Southern Puerto Rico fault zone, Puerto Rico”
공공데이터포털
This Data Release contains machine-readable files accompanying the study “Late Pleistocene kinematics of the Great Southern Puerto Rico fault zone, Puerto Rico” by Lynch et al. in Seismological Research Letters. The data release includes neotectonic mapping of fault-related features along the Great Southern Puerto Rico fault zone (GSPRFZ), and data documenting a focused site along the GSPRFZ in Salinas, PR. The data documenting neotectonic mapping of the GSPRFZ include linework (GSPRFZ-lin.shp) and vertical separation calculations (GSPRFZ-VS.csv). The data documenting the focused site along the GSPRFZ include surficial mapping (HLC-surfmap.shp), detailed unit descriptions (HLC-units.csv), a structure-from-motion-derived orthophoto mosaic of a bedrock fault zone exposure (outcrop.tif), surveys of offset geomorphic features (surveys.zip), and calculated displacements (GSPRFZ-RL.csv).
Quaternary fault mapping of the Zapata and Blanca sections of the Sangre de Cristo fault zone from high resolution 3DEP topography
공공데이터포털
This data release contains a dataset that depicts fault scarps along the Zapata and Blanca sections of the Sangre de Cristo fault zone located in the San Luis basin of southern Colorado. The Zapata and Blanca sections extend from the Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve to the Blanca Peak massif and are differentiated by a sharp change in fault zone orientation from north-south to east-west. The fault scarps are the result of Quaternary tectonic extension causing surface rupturing earthquakes estimated to have occurred most recently 8-12 ka with probable Mw 6-7 (Ruleman and Machette, 2007). The dataset represents detailed mapping of probable fault surface rupture on high-resolution (1m/pix) topographic data from USGS 3DEP (U.S. Geological Survey, 2012; U.S. Geological Survey, 2021) mapped at 1:1400 scale. The mapping has been validated with GPS surveys at select locations along the fault zone. Primarily, mapping was conducted between September 2022 and December 2022 with subsequent updates and corrections. The data has undergone peer review but remains subject to revision as more information becomes available. The dataset is provided in shapefile KML, and geoJSON formats.
