Loudoun Sidewalks & Trails
Sidewalk and Trail Centerlines are collected as a base map data layer derived by automated processes and processed for cartographic representation at 1:2400 scale. Typical features captured in the Sidewalk and Trail layer include are sidewalks, trails, shared use paths, golf cart paths, crosswalks and the W&OD trail features as seen from above and are mapped to National Map Accuracy Standards (NMAS). Supplemental data, including connectors and crosswalks, are captured from visual inspection and digitization from the County's digital aerial imagery. Prior to 2020, Sidewalk and Trail Centerlines were a layer derived from the base map data layer Miscarc_line. Dept of Environment, Water and Natural Resources - Recreation Trails
공공데이터포털
This data layer includes trails, which generally consist of a formed pathway on the ground surface. Portions of some long distance trails which coincide with vehicular tracks or constructed roads, or exist only as a natural ground surface are included. Dataset includes trails managed by both the Department of Environment, Water and Natural Resources (DEWNR) and the Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure (DPTI) Office for Recreation and Sport (ORS). This dataset supercedes DEWNR Recreational Trail Routes (2015-superceded) and ORS Trails.
Hiking Trails
공공데이터포털
This data shows the location of transportation corridors on Department of Environmental Conservation state lands that are approved for foot travel.
Recreation Tracks
공공데이터포털
A derived dataset of extracted features from Vicmap TR_ROAD dataset that represents the DELWP-managed recreation track network mainly in State Forest. Recreation Tracks within State Forest dataset represents walking/cycling tracks and touring routes within State Forest. This dataset will assist staff in their management roles and facilitate promotion to the public. All tracks are actively promoted to the public and maintained by the Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action. This dataset was initially created as part of the 2004 Recreation Facilities Database project and is now actively maintained through Vicmap Roads and extracted for use with apps and asset management tools. It is regularly updated to reflect changes to our recreational tracks (including walking, mountain biking and other tracks).
