AVHRR CoastWatch Alaska Regional Node Data, April 1991-March 2004
공공데이터포털
The sea surface temperature (SST) products were derived from NOAA's Polar-orbiting Operational Environmental Satellites (POES) for the coastal United States and created by NOAA CoastWatch Program. CoastWatch started with only POES/AVHRR SST data for the East Coast, but later added more regional nodes of Alaska, Caribbean, Gulf of Mexico, Hawaii, Great Lakes, Northeast, Southeast and West Coast. The products provided here are in the original CoastWatch Format, which does not apply to the SST data currently created. The new data is now provided in HDF format.
k283ar.m77t - MGD77 data file for Geophysical data from field activity K-2-83-AR in Arctic and Beaufort Sea, Alaska from 08/05/1983 to 08/22/1983
공공데이터포털
Single-beam bathymetry data along with DGPS navigation data was collected as part of field activity K-2-83-AR in Arctic and Beaufort Sea, Alaska from 08/05/1983 to 08/22/1983, http://walrus.wr.usgs.gov/infobank/k/k283ar/html/k-2-83-ar.meta.html The geophysical source was a Knudsen 12 kHz 320B/R echosounder. These data are reformatted from space-delimited ASCII text files located in the Coastal and Marine Geology Program (CMGP) InfoBank field activity catalog at http://walrus.wr.usgs.gov/infobank/k/k283ar/html/k-2-83-ar.bath.html into MGD77T format provided by the NOAA's National Geophysical Data Center(NGDC). The MGD77T format includes a header (documentation) file (.h77t) and a data file (.m77t). More information regarding this format can be found in the publication listed in the Cross_reference section of this metadata file.
k279ar.m77t - MGD77 data file for Geophysical data from field activity K-2-79-AR in Prudhoe Bay, Alaska, Arctic from 08/25/1979 to 09/23/1979
공공데이터포털
Single-beam bathymetry data along with DGPS navigation data was collected as part of field activity K-2-79-AR in Prudhoe Bay, Alaska, Arctic from 08/25/1979 to 09/23/1979, http://walrus.wr.usgs.gov/infobank/k/k279ar/html/k-2-79-ar.meta.html The geophysical source was a Knudsen 12 kHz 320B/R echosounder. Aerial Images of Alaska's Arctic Coastal Plain, 1948-1949
공공데이터포털
This dataset is comprised of 35 geo-referenced aerial images of four study areas (Teshekpuk Lake Special Area, Chipp River, Colville River Delta, and Dalton Highway Corridor) on Alaska's Arctic Coastal Plain. The images are from aerial photo surveys flown in 1948-1949 and obtained from the Earth Resources Observation and Science (EROS) Center using the USGS EarthExplorer website. The images represent a historical snapshot of the landscape from that time.
Oceanographic Profile Data from Gulf of Alaska Fjords, 2004-2011
공공데이터포털
This dataset contains physical oceanographic data within four fjords in the coastal area of the Gulf of Alaska. Data were collected with a Seabird Electronics conductivity-temperature-depth profiler equipped with external sensors and a water sampler. Glacier runoff provides a link between terrestrial systems and nearshore coastal processes, whereby freshwater input influences the physical oceanographic properties and circulation of fjords (Arimitsu et al. 2016).
Aerial Images of Alaska's Arctic Coastal Plain, 1974-1979
공공데이터포털
This dataset is comprised of 11 geo-referenced aerial images of two study areas (Teshekpuk Lake Special Area and the Chipp River) in the National Petroleum Reserve - Alaska (NPRA) on Alaska's Arctic Coastal Plain. The images are from aerial photo survey flown by NASA in 1974, 1977, 1979 and obtained from the Earth Resources Observation and Science (EROS) Center using the USGS EarthExplorer website in 2013. The images represent a historical snapshot of the landscape from that time.
