NEW HORIZONS LORRI PLUTO CRUISE CALIBRATED V2.0
공공데이터포털
This data set contains Calibrated data taken by the New Horizons Long Range Reconnaissance Imager instrument during the pluto cruise mission phase. This is VERSION 2.0 of this data set. The spacecraft was in hibernation for much of the Pluto Cruise mission phase, and the focus for LORRI during Annual CheckOuts (ACOs) one through four (ACO1-4) was preparation for the Pluto Encounter in 2015, including functional tests, calibrations, and encounter rehearsals. Science observations performed by LORRI during this phase included the following targets: KBO objects KBO 2005 FY9 (Makemake) and KBO 2003 EL61 (Haumea); Centaur object Chariklo; the planets Jupiter, Uranus, and Neptune. The ACO tests also had LORRI observing several other targets: Pluto; the star field that will be visible 3 days before Pluto closest approach in 2015; the M7 star field; the star Vega. A full functional test was performed during ACO1 in 2007, with ACO 'Lite' tests performed during ACO2-4 in 2008, 2009 and 2010. Specific tests and calibrations performed during ACOs included the following: scattered light test (2007, 2008, 2010); Pluto OpNav test (2007, 2008); lamp tests (2007, 2008, 2009, 2010); star tracker calibration test (2008); GNC mosaic settling test (2008); LEISA-LORRI ridealong (2008); scattered light dither test (2010). The changes in Version 2.0 were re-running of the ancillary data in the data product, updated geometry from newer SPICE kernels, minor editing of the documentation, catalogs, etc., and resolution of liens from the December, 2014 review, plus those from the May, 2016 review of the Pluto Encounter data sets. The lossy images from Version 1.0 were recalibrated, including expanding the 'bad' pixel designation of 8x8 boxes affected by the first 34 pixels of header information in the calibrated quality map. No new observations were added with this version (V2.0).

NEW HORIZONS MVIC PLUTO CRUISE CALIBRATED V1.0
공공데이터포털
This data set contains Calibrated data taken by the New Horizons Multispectral Visible Imaging Camera instrument during the pluto cruise mission phase. This is VERSION 1.0 of this data set. The spacecraft was in hibernation for much of the Pluto Cruise mission phase, and the focus for RALPH (MVIC and LEISA) during Annual CheckOuts one through four (ACO1-4) was preparation for the Pluto Encounter in 2015, including functional tests, and calibrations. Science observations performed during this phase included Uranus and Neptune at phase angles (44 degrees and 34 degrees, respectively) not available from Earth (MVIC), calibrations with Neptune as a navigation test target (MVIC), Sun in the Solar Illumination Assembly (SIA) (MVIC and LEISA), the M6 and M7 clusters (MVIC), and other calibrations (stray light, dark, interference with other instruments).
NEW HORIZONS LORRI PLUTO ENCOUNTER CALIBRATED V3.0
공공데이터포털
This data set contains Calibrated data taken by the New Horizons Long Range Reconnaissance Imager instrument during the Pluto encounter mission phase. This is VERSION 3.0 of this data set. This data set contains LORRI observations taken during the the Approach (Jan-Jul, 2015), Encounter, Departure, and Transition mission sub-phases, including flyby observations taken on 14 July, 2015, and departure and calibration data through late October, 2016. Departure observations include a ring search of the Pluto system and 1994 JR1 observations. This data set completes the Pluto mission phase deliveries for LORRI. This is version 3.0 of this dataset. Changes since version 2.0 include the addition of data downlinked between the end of January, 2016 and the end of October, 2016, completing the delivery of all data covering the Pluto Encounter and subsequent Calibration Campaign. It includes multi- map observations from the Approach phase, observations of the moons, hi- res, full-frame observations from Pluto Encounter and Departure, sliver maps, and ring search observations. There may be some overlap between prior datasets and this dataset, due to only partial, windowed, or lossy data in prior datasets. Observations at closest approach to Pluto are marked with _CA in the Request ID. This dataset also includes functional tests from the Calibration Campaign, including a regular observation of NGC3532. Finally it includes the first set of distant KBO observations. Also, updates were made to the calibration files, documentation, and catalog files. There were minor changes to the level 2 LORRI calibration process, as well as to the LORRI calibration constants for the final Pluto P3 PDS delivery. The process change involves gap removal during calibration. Files with gaps come in many flavors, depending on where the gap lies within the image. This update recognizes some additional possiblities, mainly that the gap might be close to the bottom or top of the image (and therefore the previous algorithm would fail because it filled the gap with median pixel info from both above and below the gap). The new algorithm will take the info from one side of the gap exclusively, when appropriate.
