This layer contains the City of Hartford's zoning districts. These areas are maintained by the City's GIS staff and are based on modifications provided to them from the Planning Department. Once the edits are made the Planning Department files the official Amended zoning map in the Town Clerk's Office.

The data was compiled by MobileVideo in 2002 in a windshield survey of building entrances. This data is updated daily by the City's GIS Staff with field verification done by DPW, License and Inspection or Fire Marshall's Office.
