Observed Carbonate System (2016-2018) - CB3 3C
Seawater samples were collected in Chesapeake Bay for dissolved inorganic carbon (DIC) and total alkalinity (TA) from June 2016 to July 2018. They were collected in the lower half of the Bay aboard the R/V Fay Slover in collaboration with Old Dominion University's Chesapeake Bay Program Water Quality Laboratory and the VA Dept. of Environmental Quality. In the upper half of the Bay, samples were collected aboard the R/V Kerhin in collaboration with the Maryland Department of Natural Resources' Chesapeake Bay Water Quality Monitoring Program. Additional water quality parameters from the cruises were downloaded from the Chesapeake Bay program website. Additional carbonate system parameters were then computed from DIC and TA

Dissolved inorganic carbon (DIC), pH, total alkalinity (TA), and the partial pressure of carbon dioxide (pCO2) collected from surface water samples in the Delaware Estuary from 2013-06-09 to 2015-04-06 (NCEI Accession 0167648)
공공데이터포털
To investigate the seasonal variation of the inorganic carbon system in the Delaware Estuary, one of the largest estuaries along the U.S. east coast, pH, dissolved inorganic carbon (DIC), total alkalinity (TA), and the partial pressure of carbon dioxide were measured along the estuary from June 2013 to April 2015.
Discrete bottle dissolved inorganic carbon (DIC), total alkalinity (Talk), water temperature and salinity validation data for the First Landing MAPCO2 system located in the mouth of the Chesapeake Bay, North Atlantic Ocean (36.9981 N, -76.0873 W) from 2018-05-02 to 2020-10-06 (NCEI Accession 0250708)
공공데이터포털
This dataset contains discrete bottle sample data for total Dissolved Inorganic Carbon (DIC) and Total Alkalinity (TAlk), water temperature and salinity samples, collected for validation and internal consistency analyses at the First Landing MAPCO2 system in the mouth of the Chesapeake Bay (36.9981 N, -76.0873 W). Samples were collected and immediately preserved with 0.2 µL of saturated Mercuric Chloride from 2018-05-02 to 2020-10-06. Samples were transported to the Cai-Laboratory at the University of Delaware for analysis. DIC is analyzed via a nondispersive infrared laser LICOR analyzer after 1 ml of 10% H3PO4 is injected into the sample and the CO2 gas is “stripped” out. TAlk is measured via Gran titration with HCl to an end-point of pH 3.2. The method precision is >0.1%. This effort was conducted in support of the coastal monitoring and research objectives of the NOAA Ocean Acidification Program (OAP).
Modeled Carbonate System (1998-2018) - CB3 3C
공공데이터포털
This product was developed as part of the project supported by the grant from and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Ocean Acidification Program under award NA18OAR0170430 to the Virginia Institute of Marine Science. The data product consists of carbonate system variables for 33 tidal stations for 1998–2018 in the main stem modeled from CBP observations of temperature, salinity and pH. Modeled variables include total alkalinity, partial pressure of carbon dioxide (pCO2), dissolved inorganic carbon (DIC), carbonate ion (CO32-), and calcium carbonate saturation ratio (as aragonite).
