Landfill Gas Energy Projects and Landfills in LMOP Database
공공데이터포털
Web map published by the U.S. EPA Landfill Methane Outreach Program (LMOP) that shows currently operational landfill gas energy projects and landfills listed in the LMOP Database having latitude and longitude coordinates. Data for operational projects are provided in 4 layers by Project Type Category (electricity, direct use, RNG pipeline injection, and RNG local use). Data for landfills are provided in 3 layers by Landfill Category (candidate, with project, and other). LMOP defines a candidate landfill as one that is accepting waste or has been closed for five years or less, has at least one million tons of waste, and does not have an operational, under-construction, or planned project; candidate landfills can also be designated based on actual interest by the site. Data from the LMOP Database are available at https://www.epa.gov/lmop/lmop-landfill-and-project-database. The Tribal layer data are available at https://geopub.epa.gov/arcgis/rest/services/EMEF/Tribal/MapServer.

EPA RE-Powering Mapper Feasibility Studies
공공데이터포털
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Office of Land and Emergency Management (OLEM) Office of Communications, Partnerships and Analysis (OCPA) initiated the RE-Powering America's Land Initiative to demonstrate the enormous potential that contaminated lands, landfills, and mine sites provide for developing renewable energy in the United States. As part of the RE-Powering America's Land Initiative, the EPA and the U.S. Department of Energy's National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) evaluated the feasibility of developing renewable energy production on Superfund, brownfields, and former landfill or mining sites. These reports pair EPA's expertise on contaminated sites with the renewable energy expertise of NREL.
