A manually-actuated device for the deliver of a volume of liquid which includes an outlet through which liquid is in use delivered and a cover member which is movably disposed relative to the housing between a first position in which the cover member at least partly covers the outlet and a second position in which the cover member acts as a lever which in use is acted upon by a user to actuate the delivery device.

The carrier (1) has a row of several molded recesses (12) to hold cups. Complementary interlinking elements on a long side of a carrier engage with those on a second carrier. The elements consist of a grab element with an apron on one side, which engages over a holder edge (20,21) on the other side and into a recess. The interlinking elements are locked together by locking elements (41,42). The recesses are offset relative to each other so that the cups are offset through 90[deg]. The holder edge has raised and recessed parts for reinforcement. The carrier consists of fiber material.

A method of manufacture of a bottle which may be closed by a push-on closure, apparatus for manufacturing the same, a bottle and a closure for the bottle. A bottle is manufactured in a multi-component assembly. The bottle preform (not shown) is made by an injection molding technique, having detents on its upwardly and outwardly facing surfaces. It is then transferred to a blow mould where it is first heated, and then shaped by inserting a blow pin through the neck of the preform to stretch it in its longitudinal axis. During this operation, the top surface of the preform is bent down, such that the detent formed on the upwardly facing surface of the preform now extends laterally into the volume of the preform. The stretched preform is then blown to take the shape of the blow mould, forming the bottle. A closure is formed by injection moulding, and is held on the bottle by the laterally extending detents.

Device and method for mounting ends of a handle into slits of a package. The device includes guide rails which guide and orient the ends of the handle from a first position to a second position, wherein, in the second position, the ends of the handle are oriented in a direction that is perpendicular to the slits of the package. The method includes moving the handle towards the guide rails, guiding the handle with the guide rails until the handle assumes the second position, and inserting the ends of the handle into the slits of the package. This abstract is neither intended to define the invention disclosed in this specification nor intended to limit the scope of the invention in any way.

A buckle (10) comprising a decorative outer frame (11) having a circumferential top wall (12) and opposed depending side walls extending rearwardly of the top wall (12). A channel (15) is defined between the depending side walls under the top wall (12). A casted back member is provided with a projection portion which is configured to be received in the channel (15). The outer frame is retained on the casted back member by bending the outer one of the side walls under the projection portion which is received at least in part in the channel (15). The casted back may have a variety of designs and attachments all formed in a single casting.

In a pedestrian protection apparatus installed in a lower part of a front of a vehicle, a plate extends in a longitudinal direction of the vehicle, and includes a front section (26) having at least a portion protruding from the front of the vehicle, a rear section (28) fixed to the vehicle, and a center section provided between the front and rear sections. The front section (30) is more rigid than the rear section, and the center section is less rigid than the front section and more rigid than the rear section.

Equipment (10) for the preparation of a hot beverage comprising a boiler (10) capable of containing a liquid component of the beverage, for example water, a collection container (14) and means (22, 20, 28) defining a delivery path for the liquid component from the boiler to the collection container. The equipment also comprises valve means (40) located along the delivery path for the liquid component comprising a plug (44) which can move between a position in which the delivery path is closed and one in which it is open and means (70, 72; 74, 76; 78) to immobilise the plug in the open position. A bracket (1 and 1') for safety devices comprising a vertical prop (2), perpendicular to whose base is welded a sleeve (3) accommodating a crossbeam called lower (4) which ends in a cap (5) and which can be immobilised in its movement by a pin (8), and at the upper part of the said prop are fixed : - on the one hand, by one (11) of its ends, a crossbeam (12) which extends on the side opposite to that where the lower crossbeam (4) has its cap (5), and whose other end (13) is supported by a brace (14) which in its turn rests on the base of the prop (2), and - on the other hand, on the side where the lower crossbeam (4) has its cap (5), a sleeve (24) whose front face has a cutout (18) for working in conjunction with a rod (19) anchored in the wall, this sleeve with a vertical axis being capable of accommodating a vertical bar (25, 48) ending at its upper part with a fixing means such as a plate having a cutout similar to that of the carrier (16) and which can be immobilised in its vertical movement by a horizontal pin (26) crossing a perforation (27) of the sleeve and one of the perforations of the vertical bar (25, 48), this bracket being characterised in that : - the sleeve (24) is formed by a carrier (16) whose back has the cutout (18), - the rod (19) is provided with a stop member (20) which is located between the arms (21, 22) of the carrier (16), - the perforation (27) of the sleeve (24) is positioned in such a way that, when, instead of suspension by a vertical bar, the bracket is directly suspended on a rod (19) passing through the cutout (18) of the back of the carrier (16), the placing of this pin (26) causes it to pass just under the stop member (20) in such a way that it then prevents the rod (19) from being detached from the cutout (18) and at the same time prevents the rotation of the said stop member (20), and - the arms (21, 22) of the carrier (16) each have at their base a cutout (29) in the form of a hook capable of covering a horizontal rail (30).

The invention concerns a device (1) for manipulating tools comprising two parts, said device being of the type consisting of a frame and at least one tray forming a table, designed to receive the mold. The invention is characterized in that it comprises two horizontally arranged trays (6, 9-7, 8) one of which is arranged sliding on the frame to be mobile in translation relative to the other tray, from a close position to a remote position and inversely, so as to enable the tool to be manually opened and closed.
